"Thank you..." she said softly, blushing a bit. Alessa was happy that he liked it. She gently shut the book and set it on her desk. The girl walked to her bed and offered her paw to Alex. "Sure, I'd love to look at your collection." she murmured, "And maybe, when we get our work, could you help me with it?"

Alex was confused, why did she give him her paw? he wasnt sure what to do, so he just kinda... did what he first thought to. He grabbed it.
"U-uh... we can go into my room? all the movies are there on my shelf..." he felt suddenly very nervous. he didnt know what to think about it. he just hoped his paws didnt sweat.
"I can also help with your work... its easy, im good at it too."

[Boomer]

Alessa started to walk towards her door, but didn't pull him along. "I'm glad you're good at this work thing." she said quietly, "I just hope it isn't too difficult for me." Alessa led him into his room, then looked around the room. "Shelf... shelf..." she mumbled, trying to find it, "Ah! Right there." Alessa let go of his paw and went over to the shelf holding his movie collection.

Alex watched as Alessa looked through his movie collection.
"Ur... be a little more careful going through them." He noticed she was going very fast, moving all the cases around.
"I like to protect the cases as much as i can, i dont like them being scratched."

Alessa nodded as she was careful moving the cases. "I understand." she said softly, "I'll be careful." Alessa searched through the movies, then picked up the cartoon version of 101 Dalmatians. "Is this one safe?" she asked, looking to Alex.

"Yes! Disney movies are amazing, and clean. theyre made for younger viewers but i swear most of the people who watch them are much older than youd think." Alex took the CD from Alessas hand, and slipped it into his very small, very old, TV.
"Theres alot of other movies like this if you want to watch more after this." Alex told Alessa, and sat down on the bed to get comfortable for the movie.
"come sit beside me!"

Alessa had no idea what Disney was, but she nodded anyways. She climbed onto the bed and sat next to Alex. "Do you watch movies in the dark?" she asked, "Or do you keep the lights on?" Alessa didn't mind either way; she was just happy to spend some time with Alex.

"Usually lights off. it helps you see it better. do you want me to turn them off?" Alex asked. he wasnt sure how Alessa felt with the dark, so he asked to make sure it was okay for her.
"We could also probably persuade Mrs. Potter to let us have one of the microwaveable popcorn bags." He smiled. he loved popcorn.

"Sure, I'm okay with the lights off." she said softly, giving him a smile. Alessa then tilted her head as Alex mentioned the popcorn. "What's popcorn?" she asked, frowning slightly, "I don't think I've ever had popcorn before." Alessa was curious about it and was willing to try it. "What else do you eat when you watch a movie?" she questioned.

"popcorn is corn that was... popped." Alex wasnt sure how to explain it.
"Trust me, its good, its salty and buttery and amazing." He decided that would probably be good enough.
"Well... you can eat anything during a movie, but most people like to eat junk food during movies." He explained some more.
"Think... pop, popcorn, chips, candies, chocolate, all that stuff."
