personality;; archer is a massive ball of energy and positivity. he loves adventures and anything involving the outdoors,, but sometimes gets too intrigued by his surroundings and occasionally getting hurt or in trouble. the fact that he is well known for being a daredevil and doing acts before thinking through them doesn't help with that either, but he tries to make it up by helping strangers and friends alike for almost anything. another flaw he has is that he is too trusting too quickly and even now he still suffers with it.

He loves swimming and water in general, so he spends as much time as possible in the water. Charlie is overall pretty optimistic but occasionally his pessimistic side can take over and he'll freak out.

Charlie was frantically running around, trying to find everything he needed for his trip. Alright, I think I have everything. He thought. Just to be sure, he opened his backpack to check one more time. Water? Check. Snacks? Check. Sleeping bag? Check. Map? Check. Hat? Check. Romance novel and flashlight? Check. He decided to throw one more water bottle in his bag just in case. Just to make sure that he wasn't constantly checking his social media, he made the hard decision not to bring his phone along.
A camping trip with Archer! He thought. I can't wait!

Archer repeatedly dug through his backpack and counted everything placed inside it, paranoid if he was missing anything. Calm down, He told himself after empting everything out and putting them back in for the third time. you've checked more than twice I'm sure you would have noticed if anything was missing.
But that didn't stop him from scanning through everything again. He yanked out his phone and checked the list on his memo, and drew a relieved sigh as he crossed everything off of it. Once he zipped up his bag and threw it over his shoulder, excitement rushed inside him as he thought about him and his best friend being alone for once on a trip they always spoke about planning.

Charlie left his small apartment and headed over to Archer's. His backpack was bulging with his things but he didn't care. If an awesome camping trip with your best friend means you have to carry a giant heavy backpack, you'll do it. As he walked over to his apartment building, his mind wandered off. Not only was Archer his best friend, but he had a slight crush on him as well. Since he and Archer are very open about telling each other things, they know that both of them are gay.

"Archer!" Charlie exclaimed. He was outside his apartment. "Ready to go camping?"

The fur stood up at the end of his neck. He certainly didn't expect Charlie to be here already! He stuffed an extra water bottle in the little net on the side of his bag and rushed to his door. He opened the door and a smile crossed his face when he met eyes with his best friend since childhood. His heart fluttered and his cheeks brightened, but thankfully his thick coat covered it. He had been crushing on him for a few months now, but he was beyond afraid about telling Charlie about his feelings in fear it would put their friendship in danger.
"I'm just as ready as you are!"

"Great!" Charlie beamed. "Let's go!" He blushed a little bit under his fur, with the thought that he and his crush would be spending the night alone under the stars, away from civilization and anyone else. He wanted to tell him that he liked him, but that could also take a very bad turn, and the entire trip would feel awkward.

Archer followed Charlie out of the apartment building and hop into his car. He plopped himself down on the passenger's seat, clicking his seatbelt, and sewn his fingers together on his lap. He glanced at the radio, contemplating about changing the channel or not.

Charlie threw his bag into the back of the car and got into the driver's seat. He clicked his seatbelt and turned on the car.
"Should I change the station?" He asked Archer. "Or should I turn it off entirely?"
