Lexa went in the bathroom and took a shower. After brushing her teeth and hair, she came out barefooted wearing sweatpants and a loose t-shirt. Her hair splattered wet drops of water on her back. She sat on one side of the bed on top of the covers and took out her sketchbook. She lightly sketched the rough copy of the cove, wanting to capture the memory in a picture. She would paint it later, but right now she just wanted to get the outlines done. Chubbs lied down on his dog bed and seemed to pass out as soon as his head hit the floor.

"Good," she answered. She finished drawing and put her sketchbook away. She turned off the main light but kept the lamplight on for Curtis. She got under the covers, her back to him, and closed her eyes. "Goodnight, Curtis," she said.

He looked down at her and smiled. He turned the lamp light off, then got under the covers. "Goodnight, Lexa." He whispered softly.
The next morning, the two were still in bed. Curtis had a loose arm around her. He had dreams about yesterday. Him, lexa, and Chubbs running around on the beach. He smiled some in his sleep

Lexa hadn't woken up yet. She was sleeping well and her dreams weren't bad. She murmured in her sleep, dreaming. She snuggled up against Curtis in her sleep without realizing it.

By the time the Sun shown into the bedroom, Curtis was spooning Lexa, it wasn't a weak spoon though. He was pressed up against her, with a tight arm around her. Not enough to hurt her, though.

Lexa slept peacefully, and much longer than she usually did. She didn't have nightmares last night like she normally did.

Curtis woke up and blinked a few times. He opened his eyes to see Lexas hair almost in his face. He froze for a moment, scared of the situation. After realizing he was safe and she was asleep, he cautiously laid his head back down and closed his eyes once more. Curtis was awake now, and wasn't planning on sleeping again. He just loved the comfort of her body pressed against his. It felt normal to hold her like this. Maybe everything was going to work out after all? He smiled a bit, taking in her scent and warmth

Lexa slowly woke up, sunlight peeking in through the blinds. She felt someone pressed up against her back and she immediately panicked. She jerked away, rolling out of bed in one quick movement. She stared back at the bed, to see that Curtis was still in it, and she knew that it had been him. Pink flushing her cheeks, she turned and when out on the balcony, needing some air and not wanting to be in that room. What had happened? This was the second time she had ended up like that.

Curtis jumped when she paniced and sat for a moment to catch his breath. After a bit, he got up and walked to Lexa on the balcony. "Hey..." he said softly. "I'm really sorry. Are you okay...?" he looked genuinely concerned. "I should have respected my boundaries."
