Easton walked out with Emily and carefully opened the car door and sat down. He pet the puppy one more time before handing him off to Emily. "Personally, I like the name Apollo. I almost named Lukas that." He smiled and started the car before heading out. "Alright, I'm quite hungry anyway." He said with a grin. "Plus you are pretty good at cooking." He continued their drive, silently wondering what she wanted to talk about. He pulled into her driveway after awhile of driving. He turned the car off and walked around the car to once again help Emily out. He held his hand out to her after he opened the car door.

Emily grinned and kissed her dog’s head. “Well Apollo it is then. That was my top choice and I’m glad you think I’m a good cook because I practically cook for you all the time.” She teased. She gave him a gently smile and leaned back enjoying the car ride. Emily happily sang along to the radio until they got to her place. When they got to her house, she carefully jumped into Easton’s arms. Emily set Apollo down and let him run around. She watched Easton for a moment and blushed. She slowly and softly pulled him into a hug. “Thank you for everything. I’m so glad I have you in my life.” Said Emily sweetly. After, she got Apollo and led everyone into her house. Emily danced around the kitchen thinking for a moment before looking back to Easton. “Easton....” she began softly.

Easton laughed lightly and hugged Emily back. "You are very welcome." He grinned and kissed her forehead. "And I am very glad to have you in my life, Emily." He said then followed her into her house. Easton watched Emily dance around her kitchen without a care in the world. He had a big smile on his face, but it dropped a little when she said his name. "What? Whats wrong?" He asked tilting his head slightly. He felt slightly worried, as he wasn't sure what was wrong.

Emily took in breath and looked over at him. “Hey..hey. Nothing is wrong I promise. No worries. I just wanted to tell you something well right now I’m feeling brave enough to do it.” She said. She bit her lip and glanced around after a moment and looked at him. “I have a confession. Easton..,there is no easy way to say this but I love you. Well I’m in love with you. You’re my best friend and I have had feelings for you for a while.” Said Emily. She glanced down and continued. “It’s okay if you don’t feel the same way. I don’t care. I just wanted you to know how I feel because well you’re my best friend and we tell each other everything.” She explained. She fixed her hair and slowly brought her eyes to his as she continued to cook.

Easton's heart began to race. He took a deep breath and listened to what Emily had to say. Easton had a small smile on his face as he reached forward and put his hand on her chin to lift her head. "Hey, look at me." He spoke carefully then paused. "Emily, In all honesty, I could never see myself with anyone but you." He said with a nervous voice. He had never admitted it to anyone, but he had always had feelings for this girl. He knew somewhere in him that they were meant to be, but he never acted on it because he could never tell if she felt the same. He hated how clueless he was sometimes. "I had a crush on you when I was younger, but I had hidden any feelings I had for you because I didn't think you felt the same way." He smiled a little before speaking again. "I'm so clueless sometimes."

Emily blushed deeply as she looked at him. She took in a deep breath and nodded. She bit her lip but a smile quickly came upon her face. Her heart was racing at what seemed to be a thousand miles per hour. “You are quite clueless handsome. But, it’s okay. I don’t mind. It’s one of your cute and charming qualities.” She said gently. She softly wrapped her arms around his neck as she looked up. There was a huge smile on her face. “I had one too but we’ve always been so good that I haven’t wanted to ruin what we had. Honestly though after today I was so over it.” Said Emily. She leaned up on her tippy toes pressing a kiss softly to his lips. She pulled away and let out a curse when the water started to boil over. She turned and sighed quickly fixing the stove and finishing up their dinner. “See what you do to me.” Teased Emily winking with a blush.

Easton grinned and held her closely. "This is crazy." He spoke carefully with a small chuckle then placed his hands on her waist. "I cannot believe this. I must be dreaming. Im not dreaming right?" He let out a slightly nervous laugh then leaned his head down slightly and kissed her back. "I never thought id get to do that." He said then let out another laugh as the water began to boil over. "Oops." He said with a sly smile before walking over into the kitchen. "So, what are we having?" He tilted his head as he sat down at the table.

Emily smiled some and shook her head. She bit her lip and nodded. “Me either. Trust me. Do you know how hard it’s been to see you with those other girls.” She said quickly. She drained the pasta and looked at him smirking. “Pasta and meatballs dork. Sorry it’s not as gourmet as normal.” Teased Emily. She made each of them plate and brought them to the table. Emily quickly turned and got them drinks before returning and sitting next to him. “You know your mom is going to be so happy. She’s told me since like forever that we would be great together.” She said. Emily bit her lip looking at him. “Okay I have a burning question...kids or no kids?” Asked Emily. Her eyes were lit up with joy and love.

Easton looked down, almost embarrassed. "I'm really sorry." He spoke quietly, knowing the pain of seeing someone you care for with someone else. He then smiled and looked up at her. "Sounds good." He grabbed the drink she handed him and sipped it. Easton nodded then spoke once again. "Yea, Im almost scared to tell her. As soon as she gets word about this shes gonna be demanding grandchildren." He laughed lightly then bit his lip a little. "Well, I have always wanted kids...So yea, kids might be something I want in the future." He looked down at his plate and took a few bites before looking back up at Emily. "I just realized...I never asked you." He paused for a moment as a grin took over his face. "Emily Renee Jones, will you make me the happiest person alive and be my girlfriend?" He asked with a nervous, but excited tone of voice. He was pretty sure he knew the answer, but it still made him nervous.

A smile never left Emily’s face as she watched her best friend. She happily ate with him and nodded letting out a light and happy laugh at his remark. “She will definitely be demanding grandchildren. But I mean I’m sure she will be happy to know we are together and she will get her wish soon enough.” She said with a small smile as she shook her head chuckling to herself. “Me too. I definitely want kids. I can just see them running around the farm” added Emily gently. She continued to happily eat her meal. She only paused when he spoke again. This time he asked her a very important question. Her face turned red as she looked at him and she nodded. “Yes Easton. It would be my honor to be your girlfriend.” Replied Emily sweetly. She leaned over and pressed and gentle kiss to his cheek. Emily scrunched her nose cutely and leaned back watching him momentarily before she finished eating. “Do you have to leave right after dinner?” She asked with a mischievous look in her eye.
