Lucas felt the carriage start to slow down, and he saw that they were outside of the castle. It was a gorgeous castle, and it looked much like his at home. There were quite a few key differences, though. He watched his parents step out of the carriage before he did, adjusting his suit and crown so his parents wouldn't scold him.

Her eyes were still fixed outside, as she watched the moon slowly take the sun's place letting out a deep sigh, then looking ahead of herself still awaiting guests arrivals.

Lucas followed his parents as they started towards the castle. He watched the carriage drive away from the front, and then he turned back, seeing his parents almost into the castle by now. He walked after them quickly, trying to catch up.

Her gaze shifted to the entrance, her posture immediately straightened. "For my sake, please don't mess up!" she thought to herself as she clasped her hands in front of her.

His parents approached the girl awaiting at the entrance, and they greeted her with a bow before mostly ignoring her and walking in as if they had been there a thousand times before. Which they probably had. Lucas then approached the girl, bowing slightly. "I'm so sorry about my parents." He apologized to her.

She curtsied. "No your fine, my parents do it too," she said softly with a small smile.

He then held his hand out to shake her hand. "Oh... well that's reassuring. I'm Lucas, by the way." He said, smiling at her.

"Alyssa," she took his hand in hers giving it a small shake. "And, I bet it's how most royal parents act...."

Lucas was quite grateful that there was at least one other person around his age here. "I'm sure that's true." He agreed.

She tilted her head slightly a light smile curling her lips,"Well, I hope to see you later, Lucas. I have to greet the rest of the royal families and then I'll be free for the night."
