Alyssa inhaled deeply her gaze drifted between both of her parents. The sudden silence out of both of their parents seemed to make her squirm, being nervous about what they would do about the situation.

He looked at Alyssa nervously, before turning back to his parents. "We'll have to work out a system with your parents so you two can see each other." His mother said to Alyssa.

She nodded,"That sound great..."

Lucas was glad that his mother was being so kind, although she wasn't the one that he was worried about. "Yes, I'm sure this can benefit all of us." His father said. At least he hadn't said something cruel....

Her fingers twitched softly as her parents exchanged looks with her, could they just stop doing that? It was quite annoying...

He felt her fingers move and he squeezed her hand reassuringly again, although he was quite nervous as well. He hated this. It just felt so awkward for all of them.

She looked up at him with a soft smile.

"Well, that will work..." said her father looking towards his parents.

He looked at her, returning the smile.
His father then nodded upon hearing her father speak. "Yes, it hopefully will." He said.

Both of her parents sighed as they looked back at the two, her mother smiling at Alyssa.
"You two were brave to bring this up to us," she said to them.

Lucas swallowed, nodding his head a little. He was still anxious; he was just waiting for one of their parents to yell or do something rash, but it just didn't seem to come.
