She smiled softly, looking back at her parents,"We'll just have to figure something out..."

Lucas nodded, agreeing with Alyssa's words. They would have to work something out.

Her parents sighed,"Do you guys even know each other that well? I presume you guys only just met...."

[Saturn ♥]

"Y-Yes we just met, but...." Lucas trailed off, unsure of how to finish his sentence.

Their parents exchanged uncertain glances as they bit their lips,"But...?"

Lucas still didn't know how to finish his sentence. He just felt something with her, and if he said that, his parents would definitely dismiss it as stupid.

"We feel that it's right," she started speaking up for him,"Even though we just met, we feel like we know each other more than we really do..."

Lucas nodded, grateful for her help. His parents seemed to gape at Alyssa for a moment, before his father just shrugged and his mother smiled a little.

That made her heart race, she had never done that before. It felt like her stomach was upside down. But she stayed at Lucas's side either way.

Lucas was still nervous that his father wouldn't accept them, but his father didn't seem to be arguing. He just seemed to be in thought.
