"This could be a good thing..." her father muttered softly, tapping his chin.

Lucas watched Alyssa's father carefully, before turning back to his own parents. "I'm proud of you, Lucas." His mother said; although for what, he didn't know.

She tilted her head slightly, glad her father was agreeing with the decision. A small smile appeared on her lips.

He then looked to his father, worried about his reaction. "Well, yes, I guess it could be beneficial," His father rumbled reluctantly. Lucas smiled a bit, happy that his father seemed to be giving them the OK.

She sighed in relief, looking up at Lucas with a bright smile.

Lucas smiled, his nervousness fading a little as he looked at her.

Her mother nodded with a small smile,"You made a great decision you two..."

He blushed lightly at Alyssa’s mother’s words. “Thanks....” He responded softly.

She nodded at her mother's words. Was she praising them? Or was she happy for them? She didn't know, making her uncertain about what her mother had said.

Lucas still held onto Alyssa’s hand, she had calmed him almost completely.
