He almost laughed a little when she repeated the same phrase with a completely different tone of voice. It was if she was trying to persuade herself that she didn't like him (which was most likely the case). He couldn't help but be a little amused. He wasn't romantic at all whatsoever, and he was pretty sure she wanted to murder him so he wouldn't try to do anything like kiss her. That was an accident waiting to happen. "We can just get to know each other," he suggested. He was completely comfortable around her, but he couldn't say the same for her. They were still technically strangers to each other. If she was his mate, then he'd need to know more about her.

She glanced away at the third option, her cheeks heating up a little. Automatic no. She wasn't really hungry, despite never getting enough to eat. It had just become common for her to be hungry, so she was used to the constant empty feeling in her stomach. She had slept enough earlier, so she wasn't tired either. The last option seemed like the best option so far. She wasn't going to become someone's mate when she barely even knew them. "We can.. just talk.."

"Don't laugh at me" she snarled " well okay alpha..ask me away.. ask me any 3 questions you want and I'll do the same for you. And I'll answer all of them " she looked outside. She missed her old cave..she didn't have anything inside of it except leaves and elf fur for a bed. . She sighed remembering home..it hurt to remember at this point

He blushed and awkwardly cleared his throat " y-yeah talking good " he murmured " what about?" He questioned as he looks at her. " we can talk about anything you like Jinx " he said softly as he sat on the couch in his den..made from old trees and padded with elk fur..comfy enough for him

Three questions. For the meantime, he should keep them simple. Not anything too personal (he had already used his daily personal question earlier with the eyes), something simple. "Hmm... First question is simple: what's your favorite color?" Despite how corny the question was, he was serious. A woman's favorite color could be crucial for many things: like what colored ring she'd like, dress, curtains, whatever it was that guys bought for their mates for any special occasion. He wasn't sure, this was all new to him too. Being an alpha, he was constantly getting caught up in all his duties. He never really had the opportunity to try something like a romantic relationship out. Even so, he had vowed to wait until he found his mate. And here she was.

He had said her name... Not "omega" or a pronoun, but her actual name. It made her feel... warm inside. What was the word? Happy? She couldn't remember the last time she'd truly felt happy about something. And now, it was all because he had just spoken her name. She remained standing as he sat down on the couch, still feeling like she wasn't allowed to sit on anything as nice as that. Still feeling like she needed permission from him. "I don't know... What do you want to talk about??"

"She sighed. Really? Of all juicy questions he could have asked.. " yellow." She answered simply. It was and always has been. But only because of the sun and the warmth of the colour. " well.." she said softly as she looked at him again, what could she ask? Anything? " have you ever kissed anyone before?" She asked. She knew that male werewolves are very flirtatious..most of them anyway. So how many she wolves had he wooed

" no. You." He said with a growl " I'm not choosing." He was getting a little annoyed. He had given her the choice, he didn't want it back " now " he said slightly softer than his pervois words. He sighed heavily " you can sit on the couch you know " his voice had calmed down." It's our den and you have permission to go anywhere but my office..for now.."

Yellow? Seriously, yellow? She hadn't been specific, but hopefully, it wasn't a mustard yellow or any other nasty looking color that was considered as "yellow." If she meant a paler yellow, then he'd be fine with that. He blinked at her first question. And he had tried to keep his nice and simple. She was diving right into the juicy stuff. "I have." It had happened so long ago, it might as well not have happened at all. He had been young and stupid. This was before he had become the alpha. He wasn't going to give her any more details about the event; he couldn't remember much about it in the first place. He didn't really want to remember either. Didn't everyone cringe when they looked back at their past self?

She sucked in a breath, not knowing what in the world to talk about. She nodded and gingerly sat down next to him, leaving a little bit of space between them. His office? So that's what that room had been. Did it have personal stuff in it? That made the most sense, especially if he didn't want her to see anything inside. "Uh..." Racking her brain for any conversation topics, she came up empty-handed. She had rarely talked to people before, and now that she had to hold a conversation with the beta, it was kind of stressful. Not wanting to let the silence linger any longer, she said the first thing that popped up into her mind. "What's it like... to be a beta?"

She felt herself growl softly at the thought of her mate kissing another woman who was better than her.. she looked away " ask me something. Don't hold back with the questions. " she said as she dig's her nails into her upper arms , all she could feel was anger and sadness " I've never kissed another man" she said , she had been close to but that guy was a bad boy. And she learned before she kissed him she had other she wolf loners on the side..

" being a beta isn't all as good as it seems. . I do the alphas dirty work. I get a lot of female attention for it but I don't like it that much in all honesty." He said " being a beta has its perks. Im respected. Wolves don't mess with me. I'm. Feared and I can make choices for other people that I know will.benefit them " he said to his mate " as beta female you shall help me with that and keep me right.."

She seemed a little upset... He wasn't really shocked when she admitted that she had never kissed someone before. If she had been a loner, then there wouldn't be anyone that she'd be close enough with to kiss. He contemplated what the next question should be. He was a little glad that no one had kissed her before. Was that why she seemed a little upset? Because he's kissed another girl? That had been long before he had even been old enough to go to the pack meeting. It hadn't meant anything to him. She hadn't been his mate. "Well, would you like to try kissing me?" Yep, that was being counted as his second question.

She listened to him curiously. The difference between being an omega versus a beta. Could her life really change that much? She'd start being respected, but only because of her position as the beta male's mate. If it had been her alone, she wouldn't be commanding much fear or respect. She wasn't that type. The other pack members wouldn't give her respect because they wanted to; they'd only do it because they had to. Or because they'd fear what Blaise would do if they didn't. They wouldn't fear her, that's for sure. But she could see why they'd fear Blaise. She looked down at her lap. "It's certainly different from being an omega... but I'll try my best..."

Her eyes widen at his question. Kiss him. Now? She had known him for one day. He had threatened her..yet he stood up to her. Plus. .they were mates and she will.be claimed tomorrow..and they were sleeping in the same bed. She felt that she didn't want to but her wolf really really wanted to kiss him.or more.. her wolf was taking over. And she let it. She felt herself nodding.. "yes." Was all she could say

"You'll do fine..it's getting late..we should get prepared for bed ..come on" he said as he walked toward the bedroom. .he pulled the covers down I'm perpetuation for sleep. He then changed into his sweatpants and y shirt for bed. He signed loudly

He was surprised she said yes. After everything that had happened that day, their relationship hadn't progressed at all. He smiled a little as he easily closed the gap between them with a single stride. He wasn't sure if Echo could ever come to love him, or even like him at all, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try. He was genuinely happy that he had found his mate, even if she was a rogue. He paused for a second before slowly leaning down and softly pressing his lips against hers. Nothing too dramatic, something simple. Sincere.

She had changed earlier, and clothes were extremely comfortable in comparison to her other clothes. The most uncomfortable thing that he probably had would still be ten times more comfortable than her old clothes. Following Blaise into the bedroom, she stared down at the floor, not wanting him to think she was peeking at him while he was changing or anything. She didn't want to sleep in the same bed, but she wasn't going to spend another night on the floor again. Besides, she'd have to get used to sharing a bed with him, they were mates after all.

just because she didn't like him doesn't mean she can't get some action. She kissed him back the same way and puts her hands on his shoulder's. . She pressed her lip's more firmly into hi's to let him know that they can continue. She felt her wolf was happy and satisfied with her doings..she can tell her wolf is telling Lokis wolf what to do with her.. she pulled back after a good while, her face now soft and a little bit shocked looking

He looks at her "do you want anything? A drink? Food? Or straight to bed?" He said softly to her with a smile. His inner wolf was head over heals for his mate but blaisé himself was a little uneasy..and unsure of what he felt toward the omega..at least he saved her from her pretty bad life .. he stares at her..
