A nightmare? He scoffed a little. He was still sleepy and groggy. He yawned loudly and stretched his arms a little. He rubbed his eyes. His hair was messy and part of it stuck up due to the position he had been sleeping in. It took him a few long seconds to finally respond. "That's correct," He murmured while stifling another yawn.

She wanted to laugh more when she saw him patting the bed near her. Covering her mouth, she did her best to muffle any giggles that slipped out. He was kind of cute when he was sleeping. Bring the beta, he was always busy, so he must not get enough sleep. Hopefully he caught up on sleep for the week he was off. She nearly jumped when his hand found her leg and rested there. Well, she wasn't moving anytime soon. She laid back down in an attempt to fall asleep again.

She accidently let out a whimper. Feeling defeated..she was in a camp..a pack..the alphas mate.. heavily guarded.. no escape. It made her feel helpless. " I really really hope.." she whispered " I just don't want it to hurt..got it?" She snapped at him " too bad..cause of course it will..I mean you're biting into me for goodness sakes."

He pulled her close to his chest.. he felt the need to have her there " stop laughing.." he sad about 5 minutes after she actually said it..it was like his thick skull slowed down how quickly he hears things.. yawning loudly he pressed his nose into her shoulder with a small "hmm.."

He crawled back into bed sleepily, barely hearing her. "Mmmm, I'll try," he paused as a yawn escaped him, "not to hurt you" The last part was muffled as he shoved his face into the pillow and closed his eyes. He couldn't guarantee anything. He had to make the bite evident enough so the pack knew that she belonged to him. Of course, he wasn't going to bite her as if he were about to enjoy a big hamburger, that would probably hurt a lot. He rose his head from the pillow and looked up at her still standing there. "Are you going to go back to sleep or do you want to do something?" He asked with half narrowed eyes. He wasn't completely looking at her; it was more like he was staring at a spot on the wall directly behind her. It was as if he had been given some laughing gas because of how woozy he was.

She instantly clamped her mouth shut. Had he heard her laughing? But he seemed to be in such a deep sleep that he looked dead if you ignored the slow rise and fall of his chest. She squirmed a little in his grasp but stopped. He was so close... She held her breath, scared that even the slightest movement might wake him up. After a while, she slowly let out her breath and began to breathe normally again. He was warm... She felt an odd tingling sensation in her chest as she stared at the wall facing her. Was this really how the rest of her life would be? No more cold nights in her old pitiful thing of a den... She turned a little so she could see Blaise with his face buried in his shoulder and smiled a little. Well, maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

Blinking..she thought for a few minutes..c
"You can go back to sleep but I'm staying awake...trus me.." she murmured softly. Echo felt uneasy.. she walked out of the room and sat In the livingroom. Why didn't she try to escape again? Maybe his scent had a hypnotising effect on her? Or just her wolf.. she sighed loudly. Placing her hands on her forehead and leaning her elbows on her knees.

Hugging her closer, he pressed hi's nose into her hair and fell asleep for a few more minutes but then woke up.. he let her go without a word and had walked into the bathroom for a thoughtful shower.. he thought about what had happened over the past few days. .

Loki murmured a soft "Mhm" before quickly falling asleep again. He felt exhausted from the past two days and being woken up too early clearly had negatively affected him. He was trusting that Echo wouldn't leave; that she wouldn't go behind his back and escape while he was asleep. He slept for about another hour before waking up. He still felt tired but he had to get up to check on Echo. He looked around the room, not in here. He walked out into the hallway and into the living room where he saw that she was still here. He let out an inaudible sigh of relief and walked into the kitchen. "Are you hungry?" He called to Echo as he opened some cabinet doors, looking for something to eat.

She was cozy. His warmth had lured her to sleep and she fell asleep again with his arms wrapped around her. Her inner wolf was rejoicing. Not knowing how long she had been asleep for, Jinx woke up, instantly noticing that it was colder than before. Blaise was gone. She looked around, wondering where he had gone. She could hear noise coming from the bathroom. So he was in there... She wasn't going to bother him, that was an accident waiting to happen.

she blinked ' well I.. I'm fine " she lied . She was hungry but she didn't trust him enough to eat from the palm of his hand metaphorically. Echo felt uneasy.. what if she starved to death.. no she was too far from that to even begin starving . But maybe being an alphas mate would have its perks. She almost felt sick thinking of how hungry she was 'I mean I could eat I guess" she said as her stomach rumbled

He ran his hands through his hair as the shampoo cleans it. He ran his hands down his body to clean off any sweat or bad odres that could be present on him.. Blaise sighed loudly as he got out and dried himself and hair. He felt annoyed suddenly. He couldn't smell herm where was she "Jinx! You there!?" He shouted

Loki glanced around the cabinet door at her with one eyebrow raised. It was clear that she was lying. She was super skinny, and she had been found on his territory, so she must've been feeding off of that caribou carcass they had thrown out earlier in the week. It was hard to find food as a rogue since most hunting grounds were pack territories, and therefore, off limits. Her stomach rumbling confirmed his suspicions. He was glad she had decided to eat. "Hah, alright." Her stomach growl couldn't help but make him chuckle a bit. "I can make something here, or if you want to go out an hunt we could." He wasn't going to control her; she would gain all of her freedom to do as she pleased once he knew he could trust her. For right now, he was giving her some options so she would (hopefully) grow friendlier towards him and begin to trust him.

Jinx was sitting up in the bed, wondering what she should do when she heard a voice call out from the bathroom. She smiled a little. It was probably hard to smell in there, with the soap and water washing away all the scent. She couldn't remember the last time she had had a decent shower. Maybe when she had been really young- way before she had earned her place as the omega. She let out a soft sigh at the memories. Her memories from before she had become the female omega were fuzzy, but she still remembered everything that happened after she was deemed the weakest in the pack. It still baffled her that she was in the beta's home right now as his mate. "Yeah! I'm here."

she went over her options.. Hunting could distract him long enough for her to escape.. But she was too hungry.. And the same with cooking.. She let's out a low chuff and whine as she flung her head back and rolled it over her shoulders. '' I dunno.. I wanna hunt with you.. I need to run. '' she complained as she looked up at him. She felt her knee twitch as she leaned on one leg for most of her support. She couldn't stand being inside all the time.

He walked up to her and hugged her close to his chest. He rested his nose in her head and I hailed her scent.. He missed it. And he needed it to survive mentally. Now that he had it he didn't want to let it go or out of his sight. He had all he needed and wanted.. A home.. A position.. A mate.. A say in life and he felt excited about that. His inner wolf was happy

Closing the cabinet door, Loki walked in the entryway to the kitchen and leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. She seemed to be thinking over her options carefully. Was she thinking about trying to escape again? He wasn't going to let her. He'd have to pay close attention to make sure she didn't escape when he happened to glance away for one second. Even if the opportunity to escape easily did present itself, would she take it? No doubt she was hungry. Would she choose food or freedom? The two decisions made Loki stifle a laugh. How silly that sounded. What was he even thinking right now. Food or freedom? Well being in a pack didn't mean she didn't have zero freedom. So would it be... food or death from starvation? That sounded a little too extreme. Wait, why was he even debating over this right now? Shaking his head, Loki perked up when she decided to hunt. "Hunting it is. Let's go." His hair was still disheveled and his clothes rumpled, but it wouldn't matter if they were wolves. He had always had a preference for being in his wolf form, and he himself needed to run and stretch his legs. "After you," Loki said while opening the front door and holding out his arm in a gesture for her to go first. The door had a simple lock that you could easily turn to unlock. Even so, it had been unlocked the whole time.

She was still scared and tense around him, but when he hugged her, she felt oddly comforted. His scent made her relax and she found herself resting her head on his chest and wrapping her arms around him. His threats from earlier still made her cautious, but for some reason, she felt like he didn't mean any of them. Considering how he was acting now, at least. When he was mad, that was a whole different story. Would he really be able to kill her? No doubt he had the strength to; she was more fragile than a twig. The whole thing felt wrong in a way... Just a few days ago, before the meeting, he had treated her like nothing. It was as if she had been invisible to him. The other pack members picking on her had been more of a physical pain, but when others (usually the higher ranking members) ignored her, it also hurt. Now, she and Blaise were mates? She had never really been a believer in love at first sight, but that was kind of what the annual meeting was, right?

she took note about his interest in her response and her timing.. He must think she was trying to escape again. He wasn't wrong. She greatly considered the option as she wanted her freedom. She missed her cave, as uncomfortable as it was it was home. It was hers and she guarded it greatly. With her life. Her inner wolf was trying to come out again. It made her want to jump on him and never let go. But the real echo wanted to slap his pretty face that stupid stupid handsome cute really cute well chiseled face.
She felt her face go red slightly and she nodded, putting her head down she walked towards the door of the den. "yeah okay.." she muttered more toward the door. She walked outside and inhaled the air that mixed with his scent.

Refused to let out a whimper. He was feeling very distressed by the lack of contact and the lack of her scent.. Plus the fact they had lost sight of each other for about an hour made him feel worse.. "stay with me for a while. I'm going to go insane.. Please.." he let's out a soft growl.. It was very soft.. Almost territorial. He relaxed and let go of her almost forcibly. He felt a little bit self conscious about the way he acted sometimes. How did others perceive him? He wouldn't know which made him. Feel worse
