Greyson's eyes immediately dropped down to look at their hands when he felt Noelle's in his. Holding her hand was something he had missed very much, but in this moment he was slightly taken by surprise at her move, but he wasn't complaining. The boy stood up from his seat and followed behind Noelle, "We don't need to do this. She'll show up eventually," he told the girl. Nevertheless his eyes still scanned the room, not specifically for Valentina but for anyone he might recognize.

Noelle shrugged, "Oh, C'mon. We'll find her. I promise." the girl looked at her and Greyson's hand. A small smile appeared on her face, "Well, we could go dance?" Noelle looked at Greyson. She knew he was in a awkward situation, but so was she. It was a while since they held hands. It was her favorite thing about their relationship.

Greyson simply nodded at Noelle's comment about finding Valentina.They really didn't need to do this, in fact he thought it would be best if they didn't find her. For some reason he had a feeling it would just be awkward if they did find her in this very moment, holding hands. When Noelle suggested they could dance, a smile appeared on his face, "Much better idea!" he said. Grey tightened his grip on her hand slightly and pulled her gently to the other side of the room, the side with the dance floor.

Noelle was singing 'Waterfalls' by TLC as it played on her playlist. The girl was gently brushing her brown hair; it was a normal day at her house. Greyson was there, her parents and brother was on a small trip to Los Angeles. It was all going well. Putting her brush down, Noelle stood up from her vanity mirror. Her outfit was simple, a stripped shirt and jeans. The shoes were black converse. Leaving her room, the actress walked into the living room. She spotted Greyson sitting on the couch, then decided to join him. The remote was laying on the table, so she reached over and grabbed it.

Switching through channels, Noelle landed on TMZ. They were the legends of rumors or anything dealing with celebrities. Definitely, singers and actors. "TMZ is really over-" Noelle began to speak, until she was shocked by the news. " Singer, Greyson Edwards, was seen leaving his studio with ex girlfriend, Valentina Hart for the past week. We have seen recent tweets of them working on a single. Currently, Greyson is with Noelle Washington-King, but we all know something is going on here. Is Greyson ditching Noelle to be with Valentina again? Or is he dating two girls at once?", the reporter ended with a smile.

The girl heart started racing, "G-Greyson, what are these idiots talking about?" Noelle asked with an eyebrow raised. She felt her phone buzzing rapidly. It was probably her parents and brother. "I really hope they are lying, Grey."

Greyson sat quietly on the sofa in Noelle's living room as he waited patiently for her to come down. It was one of the few days they both weren't working, so they decided to spend it together. The boy scrolled through his phone as he waited for Noelle, replying to some fans on Instagram as they gushed over the cute picture he had posted a few hours ago of him and Noelle. A soft smile was planted on his face as he did this, loving how supportive his supporters were of their relationship.

When the boy heard footsteps coming down the stairs, he turned his head slightly to see Noelle coming down. His smile grew a bit wider and he scooted over on the sofa to give her room to sit next to him. His eyes then dropped back down to his phone as his girlfriend scrolled through the channels on the TV. He wasn't picky with what they watched, so he patiently waited for her to choose something. When she landed on TMZ he frowned slightly, immediately recognizing the voice of the reporter. TMZ was a celebrity's worst nightmare because they always made up rumours and twisted the truth. It wasn't till he heard his name that he looked up at the television screen, his eyes widening as he listened to the reporter.

Greyson leaned forward and quickly turned his head to look at Noelle when he heard her voice, "What the heck?! It's not true!" he told her. He repositioned himself on the sofa so that his body was facing her, "I asked her to record a song with me because it needed her voice. We've been working on it all week so yeah, we've been in and out of the studio together. But that's it!" he explained.

"I asked her to record a song with me because it needed her voice. We've been working on it all week so yeah, we've been in and out of the studio together. But that's it!" Noelle eyes widened. It would be okay if he told her, not the reporter. She tossed the remote on the table; she knew that if she held it any longer, it woukd become a weapon. Death by a remote would be a interesting new story. The girl glared at Greyson, "Are you serious? Out of ALL the girls in this state. No, in the world, you picked Valentina?!", Noelle raised an eyebrow. She wished that she could've skipped that horror channel. It brought plenty of people down.

Noelle knew people were talking about this; she didn't like to deal with a worldwide story. "Grey, sweetie, why didn't you tell me earlier? I would've loved to hear you tell me, than TMZ. " Her mind was filled with thousands of questions. She knew TMZ was trying to ruin a perfect relationship, but she was starting to believe it. "How am I suppose to know if its true or not?"

Greyson's eyes flickered to the television screen, relieved that a commercial had now replaced the face of that terrible reporter. Grey turned to face Noelle again, "I needed her specific voice! You know she hits notes so many others can't. If it was anyone else you wouldn't be having a problem with this dumb story!" he told her. Grey felt himself starting to get annoyed. He knew Noelle had every right to be mad at him, but this is the exact reason he had decided not to tell her. He wanted to avoid a fight.

The boy took in a deep breath and then released it as he listened to Noelle speak again, "I should've told you, and I'm so sorry I didn't!" he admitted, "But I knew you wouldn't be okay with it and the label needed it done by the end of the week!" he added. He looked down at his phone, leaning over to the coffee table in front of them and placing it on top of it. He shook his head in confusion as his gaze returned to his girlfriend, "What do you mean? It's a lie and you should know it's a lie because I'm telling you the truth!" he responded, anger growing inside of him. He couldn't believe Noelle was starting to question him on this.

The boy's eyes flickered back over to the television when he heard his name mentioned again, 'Looks like we have our answer, folks! Greyson Edwards and Valentina Hart were spotted leaving TAO, an expensive Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles last weekend. Looks like the two singers really are rekindling their relationship.' Grey's body turned stiff as he watched pictures the paparazzi had taken of Valentina and him leaving the restaurant together pop up on the screen. He knew he was in trouble now, "I can explain! I was just thanking her for working with me! She loves TAO so I took her as a nice gesture. I didn't even pay for it, the record label did!" he explained, his words leaving his mouth rapidly as he started to panic over the fact Noelle really had a reason not to believe him now.

Noelle groaned at the statement about Valentina. He was apart of a record label, they could've gotten anyone else than his ex. "Greyson, you work for a record label. I'm pretty sure they have other female singers who can hit those notes." She sat up and crossed her arms. "well, this dumb story is really giving me all the answers, right now." the girl stated. She let out a sigh as Greyson spoke again. Noelle was already sick of the conversation and felt like running up to her room. Running her fingers through her hair, the girl closed her eyes.

Listening to Greyson's apology, her eyes opened, "The label are a bunch of business people, who don't give a crap about you. All they want is money. I would've okay, at least." Noelle watched him shake his head. Rolling her eyes, the girl failed to believe everything he said. It was like she was losing trust in him. Hearing the reporter saying the two names again, a big frown appeared on her face.

The words filled her head up; these words were true and she knew it. Noelle looked back at Greyson as he explained. "TAO! Really? Why couldn't the label just give her the money? You really didn't need to sit at a fancy restaurant with her. Why are you even being so sweet to her?", Noelle asked, standing up.

"You just don't understand Noelle, you're not a singer!" Greyson told her, shaking his head as he spoke, "I needed her voice and I wasn't going to compromise my song just to make you happy. This is my career! I knew you would hate the idea of me working with her, so I didn't tell you. It was a mistake on my part and I'm sorry, but please do not tell me I could've found someone else to replace her voice because it wouldn't of sounded the same and you know that!" he told her. He really didn't want to yell at her but as he spoke his voice just kept getting louder and louder. He closed his eyes tightly for a second and tried to calm down.

"Those people are the ones who took a chance on me when I left my band and I owe them so much for that. Yes, money is what they're after, but they do care about my career!" he commented. He appreciated his record label more than anyone would ever understand because they are the ones who gave him a shot when he decided to leave his band. Those 'business people' were the ones who kept encouraging him when he had lost hope and motivation to even put himself out there as a solo artist. They were the reason he was here today with a platinum record and two singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Grey really couldn't believe that Noelle was choosing to believe TMZ over him. He had never lied to her before, and while he knew he was in the wrong for not telling her, he needed her to believe that nothing was going on between him and Val. He looked down at his shoes for a second as the girl stood up, "Babe," he said quietly, "We're signed to the same label and we're friends. She took time away from her tour to fly back and record this with me, so the least I could do was take her out for dinner," he stated. The boy then extended his arm and took Noelle's hand, his eyes moving to her as he also stood up, "But you have to believe me when i tell you that nothing is going on between us!"

Noelle listened to Greyson talk. Her eyes looked at her boyfriend, she had all the anger in her. It needed to be let loose, but she knew it wasn't right to do it to Greyson. She loved him dearly and did everything in her heart to support him. He did the same, which she was let down. The girl bit her lip as she spoke, "I'm sorry." she mumbled. After she had stood up, Noelle felt Greyson hold her hand. He had stood up as well. "i-i... i'm going to my room. i really can't talk anymore, Grey. " the actress dashed up to her room.
