Greyson turned to see a women talking to them from behind. He examined her wide smile and became slightly uncomfortable because of it. She seemed very enthusiastic, and Grey hoped it was just because it was the first day of filming for this movie. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to handle her overly happy behavior otherwise. The boy forced a slight smile onto his face as he listened to the director talk about the movie. Were he and Noelle going to work well together like everyone desired? That was to be determined. When the director left the two alone, his eyes returned to Noelle. He watched her wave goodbye and then turned his attention back to the food table. Grey picked up a plate and filled it with one of everything that was on the snack table. He then grabbed some napkins and headed to the room down the hall where the table read was being held.

looking at the script in front of her, she quietly chuckled at the title. 'the prince and me' was typed largely on the paper. noelle never played someone who was bound to marry a prince. the most funniest thing is that greyson was the prince. she could tell- a romcom movie, two exes, a prince- it felt like the show business wad trying to get the two back together. noelle pushed her hair behind her ear; greyson walked into the room and she looked up at him. glancing back at her book, the girl opened up her script and began reading.

Greyson walked into the room and scanned the name tags that were placed in front of the scripts on the table for his name. When he spotted it, a small frown appeared on his face. Of course they would sit the two leads together for the table read, why would he think he would be fortunate enough to sit at the other end of the room? Grey proceeded to walk over to his assigned seat, pulling out the chair and sitting next to Noelle. He picked up his script and scanned through it for a few seconds before he lifted his head to look at the director who was greeting the group. Almost all of the seats were occupied with actors and actresses around the same age as him and Noelle, all except one that was next to him. He glanced around the room in search for the final cast member who was missing from the table read, but he didn't spot anyone. A confused expression appeared on his face, but he quickly replaced it with an interested look as he focused back on the director.

( ♔ ) - - ❝ ＮＯＥＬＬＥ ＷＡＳＨＩＮＧＴＯＮ－ＫＩＮＧ ❞

noelle took a sip from her water bottle as the director introduced herself and the crew of the movie. she had a smile on her face the entire time, someone talked. tessa explained the movie and how much she needed everyone to know their lines, get to the studio early - especially the main two characters - and go through wardrobe. even though romance was one of noelle's favourite, it felt like everything was going to plan. tessa would keep looking at her and greyson through her statements. the actress turned her head to look at greyson but there was someone entering. in the corner of her eye, she recognized the familiar face. noelle's eyes switched back to tessa, who was smiling unconditionally. this person was the final one to arrive. heck, they might as well not attend the table reading. sighing, noelle heard tessa speak, "miss hart, you're late. but that's okay, sweetheart. take a seat next to mister edwards, please." the director pointed to the empty. noelle swore she heard that last name before. immediately, she thought of valentina hart...greyson's ex. the actress scoffed under her breath, "perfect...", she mumbled looking at her script.

Greyson tried to pay attention to the words that were coming out of the director's mouth, but eventually he tuned her out. He had only been in a few movies and commercials since launching his acting career, but he basically knew what was expected of him. He needed to memorize his lines as soon as possible, pay attention to his call times on set, and be a pleasant person to work with. He had sat through this introduction speech quite a few times, so he couldn't bare to listen to it again. Grey let a quiet sigh escape him as he leaned back in his chair. He heard a door open while the director, Tessa, continued to speak. He didn't turn around though, not until he heard the name 'Miss.Hart' leave Tessa's mouth. Greyson quickly leaned forward in his seat and turned the upper half of his body around slightly to look at the figure who had just entered the room. His eyes grew wide as he immediately recognized the face as being Valentina Hart, his ex-girlfreind. Greyson's eyes followed Valentina as she took a seat besides Greyson. He really wanted to look over at Noelle, but he knew that wouldn't be a good idea. Grey quickly leaned over to Val and whispered, "What are you doing here?" he asked her. The girl tilted her head and smiled at Greyson, "I decided to also get into acting," she replied. Greyson gulped as he leaned back in his chair, his eyes trying hard not to drift over to Noelle to see her reaction.

the director looked at the three in front of her before continuing on with whatever they needed to go over. the group had read over a few pages of the script. noelle had decided to keep sane as they went over the script. the girl wanted this to end quicker; she wanted to see if wardrobe was ready or talk to other people. every once and a while, noelle would glance back at greyson and valentina. she could tell the director was loving the drama and how it would impact on the movie. maybe they can find a replacement if she quit now, but then again, she'll have to listen to the annoying voice of her agent.
eventually, the director left for they can resume on tomorrow. noelle looked at valentina, "hello, valentina." she said with a bright smile. of course, it was fake but she didn't want to have a bad impression for the first day. this was only a movie, right? the girl glanced a bit at greyson before staring at valentina. noelle reached her hand over to her things and began packing up, waiting to see what was next for her to do.

Greyson was relieved when the director told them they could resume tomorrow. There was still a lot to do in the studio, like wardrobe, so he knew he wasn't getting out of here that fast. Having Noelle on one side of him and Valentina on another made him feel very uncomfortable. He didn't understand why all three of them were cast in this movie together, but he knew it wasn't a coincidence. Having Valentina and Noelle working together was just going to end in disaster, no matter how professional the two were. The boy's attention shifted away from his own thoughts when he heard Noelle's voice greet Val. He was shocked that she had spoken, but knew it was because Noelle was one to handle uncomfortable situations as professionally as possible. Grey quickly shifted his eyes over to Valentina, her unbothered persona annoying him. Was it just him who was worried about his two ex-girlfriends working together? Did no one else see how this could end very badly? Greyson lifted his hand slightly and ran it through his hair as Valentina replied to Noelle's greeting, "Hey Noelle! Long time no see." Yep, apparently it was just him having trouble managing this situation in a professional way, but can you blame him? On one side of him was the girl who he still loved, and on another was the girl he worked on a project with a few months ago and allowed rumours to spread like wildfire that ended his relationship with Noelle. This was just not a situation he wanted to be in anymore. As the room emptied to the point where it was just Noelle, Valentina, and himself, Greyson rested his arm against the armrest of the chair and covered his eyes with his hand. He took a few moments to gather his thoughts before he straightened up in the seat and looked at Val and then Noelle, "So we're just going to pretend we're all cool and that everything is chill between us?" he asked.

noelle watched greyson as he ran his fingers through his hair. the girl was frozen still until valentina replied back to her. most girls would be furious about the girl to caused a breakup, but noelle knew it was the media's fault. she was officially one of the paparazzi and social media's prey after believing the rumor. however, sometimes they could be true and that's where it gets confusing. noelle smiled at valentina, "same to you, love." the girl wouldn't be her if she didn't show some hospitality. it was a reputation to hold and no drama was going to let it slip away. seeing the look on greyson's face, the actress raised an eyebrow, "grey, you look like you're in pain and trying not to hold it in." noelle said holding her things tightly against her chest. eventually, the only ones inside the room was the trio. noelle looked back at greyson and answered his question. "let me know when everything is going to be chill. with this director, i highly doubt anything is going to be chill, greyson. "

Greyson shook his head and grabbed his script and cell phone from off of the table, "Listen, all I'm saying is you two are acting all buddy buddy with one another and I seem to be the only one uncomfortable with this whole situation." The boy paused and took a deep breath, "I don't know what twisted thing is going on here, but I'm not a fan. This is just plain weird!" he explained. Greyson was never one to hold in his feelings. Unlike Noelle he couldn't be professional in all situations, especially one like this. As he spoke he felt himself getting angry at the idea of the director setting this all up. There was no way she simply cast all of them because they were great for the part, there was more to this. Greyson cleared his throat and looked over at Valentina, "Did you know we were in this movie before you signed on?" he asked her. When the girl nodded yes he huffed and stood up from the seat, "That's weird, Val! Why would you do that?" All Greyson could think about now was calling his lawyers to get him out of his contract for this movie, "The last time we worked together ended in disaster for me. I just don't understand why you would knowingly sign on to work with me again after that," Greyson explained. While he had nothing to lose this time around with working with Valentina, he still didn't want to. Working with her would just cause more rumours to spread about the three of them, and Grey just couldn't put himself through that again. It hurt too much the first time.

closing her eyes as she listened to greyson's statements. a part of her wanted to slap him and another wanted to just sit and watch. typically, noelle would have expected worse if everyone was inside the room. thank goodness, it was just them three. greyson was right, this did seem odd but it wasn't right to just have a outburst. the girl stood up and grabbed greyson's arm, she pulled it closer to her, " greyson edwards, you are acting as if it's a prank. it's just a silly movie; you don't have to yell at anyone just because they signed up for a role. " the girl released his arm. being a celebrity meant you were followed and people are likely to start up a dumb rumour. noelle looked at greyson then valentina; she already wanted to go home to her brother and parents. maybe they could make her smile instead of asking questions. even though they been here for a while, noelle felt like screaming. sighing, "valentina...grey... i'm going to head towards wardrobe. " she mumbled and stared at greyson, "stop making up conspiracies.", noelle said leaving the room to wardrobe.
