Iɴᴄɪɴᴇʀᴀᴛᴇ ᴏᴜʀ Sʜᴀᴄᴋʟᴇs

╔═════════════╗

Aurelia 'Aura' Winters is an eighteen
year old female. She is heterosexual.
She stands at 5'9, has chestnut brown hair
and grey eyes. She has several scars, most
notably the silver line on her right forearm
from a training exercise gone wrong and a
similar mark on her ankle from the same
accident.

╚═════════════╝
Aura is an orphan, her parents died when she was a baby. She was left on a church doorstep, but before she was found a stranger took her away. He became the only semblance if family she had left, and despite a happy childhood, training soon turned her into the perfect assassin by her teenage years. Aurelia hadn't even known what she was training for until she was thirteen.

Aura is very determined, she has a fire deep inside of her that no one has been able to quench. She is fiercely loyal to those that prove themselves to her. She wants to protect people, and is selfless enough to put their needs before her own if she cares enough about them. Due to her career, she is ruthless- but restrained in it. Her kills are quick and clean, and she ignores the begging and screaming. It just doesn't affect her anymore. She isn't empathetic and has trouble confronting the emotions of others and sometimes herself.

I'm The King Of My Own Story

face-claim is David Tennant.

Fenrir Lydel is a nineteen year old male, he is heterosexual, and
stands at about 5'11. He has brown hair and dark brown eyes
which are described to be almost black. he has a small scar on his
nose from being too reckless in his childhood with another kid his
age, it's faded at this point but if you look closely you can still see it.
Fenrir is a prince, he's sassy and a little self entitled, especially now that
he has and a few previous assassination attempts directed towards him
that he predicted and avoided with ease with his ability to sense danger
directed towards him and avoid it. Fenrir is quite the ladies man and has
many of the women around him wishing to be his wife, even though he is
interested in them he never sees a future with any of them, making him
a little upset. Now he needs to focus on his growing duties as prince and
future king, lessening his ability to find someone to spend his future with.
Sometimes Fenrir can get quite cocky, abusing his title as the prince and
future king of his kingdom.

Aurelia Winters
aura ❖ ━ ━ ❖ assassin ❖ ━ ━ ❖ eighteen ❖ ━ ━ ❖ hetero

The night had fallen swiftly over the city, hiding the actions of the wicked. What went on under this constellation-ridden sky was only the business of it's nocturnal residents. Everything from common thieves to righteous vigilantes could be found under the blanket of darkness and silence.

The muffled sounds from dark alleys and slipping open of doors didn't concern Aurelia. Tonight she had work to do, and from what she had heard it would not be easy. It was likely this particular target was aware something was up tonight, something dangerous and deadly. If he wasn't, it set her odds of success considerably higher, but she couldn't afford to think like that.

She entered the garden gate she had arranged to be opened. Honestly, they needed to pay their staff more. The shadows had swept over the normally bright flowers with a single brush stroke, and it was in this perfect darkness Aura disappeared. Her form wavered in between sight and nothingness before fading away. Her power wasn't strong enough to hide her completely, but if she wasn't looked at directly or by someone with particularly excellent eyes, she was as good as invisible.

At the late hour, the building was nearly completely deserted, and it didn't take long to get around the few patrolling guards. None of them looked to be very awake, seems they didn't care that much about their prince after all, or perhaps were too arrogant to assume their walls could be breached by a single person. The entire affair was quite underwhelming. There must have been more if so many previous attempts had failed, unless others of her trade were just inept.

Finally she came to the door she wanted, if her sources were accurate. By the door rested a single guard who had drifted off to the clouds. She was glad, it would be a shame to kill him, Aura didn't like killing anymore than necessary. Some considered her soft because of it, but as long as the target was dead she couldn't have cared less for their opinions. Before she pushed it open, she put out the single light on the wall. He couldn't alerted to her presence by a beam of flickering fire light. She pushed open the heavy oak door into the bedroom of the Prince. Her throwing knife and dagger were already in her hands, it was time to complete the contract.

      Fenrir Lydel
    Fen ✴ Prince ✴ Nineteen

#00BF80 Fenrir, up until about half an hour ago had been asleep in his grand bedroom lined with intricate patterns he had been fascinated with once upon a time. He had felt off before going to bed though, it had been quite a busy day learning how to be king with his father. Now, he was laying in his bed, staring at the roof above him and dreading the danger he had sensed.
#00BF80 He had hoped that it was something silly like a poor man or women down in the town making a threat against him and his family for being so 'high and mighty' but upon having the feeling of danger and dread only worsen he knew this was not the case.
#00BF80 perhaps another assassination attempt? he had thought to himself, and at first, the thought seemed trivial and meaningless because would the not learn that Fenrir Lydel, the prince they wanted dead so badly, could sense danger coming from a mile away?
#00BF80 He sighed deeply and rose from his bed as the feeling worsened even further, standing by his window causing him to be covered mostly in darkness except for the pale moonlight reflecting off of his brown eyes. Though, when he heard the door creek open, gazing at it out of the corner of his eye he couldn't see a thing and of course, this startled the prince at first since he was sure someone had just opened the door. He tried to brush it off as one of the guards coming in to check on him, though that didn't explain the ever present feeling of dread and the need to flee. He stood there, utterly silent as for the first time in all of his life, Fenrir was confused and genuinely scared for his life.

Aurelia stepped into the room and pushed the door closed behind her. If he screamed, the noise would be trapped in the room, his body remaining undiscovered until morning. At least that was the plan. Because when her eyes adjusted to the little light in the room, she saw the prince wasn't in his bed. It was less than ideal, if he was asleep it would have made it so much easier. Instead there was a faint shape by the window, only visible because of the strand of moonlight on his face. There was no way to confirm this was actually the prince, but it seemed like the most obvious conclusion.

She took a few measured steps forward until she stood about a metre from him. All it would take now would be one move and he would be dead. For some reason she hesitated. He looked vulnerable, and scared. Why it bothered her she had no idea, a moment of mercy. It was a very bizarre feeling for her. She had never wanted to leave a target alone in all of her life before. Aurelia stood there in the perfect dark, nearly invisible, while he was moulded in moonlight.

There was no point in hesitating anymore. Aurelia twisted her blade once in her hand, then went for his chest. She would not be stopped by morality.

      Fenrir Lydel
    Fen ✴ Prince ✴ Nineteen

#00BF80 Fenrir watched the door close, still silent and completely still. He turned to stare out the window again, keeping his eyes locked onto the gardens below his window, something he always enjoyed looking at in the spring and summer. He kept his mind focused on the growing sense of danger and keeping himself calm since he really didn't want to show he was scared.
#00BF80 Something suddenly urged Fenrir to jump to the side, avoiding whatever danger was tugging at his mind. At this point he knew it was another assassination attempt so he finally decided to speak to whoever was in the room. "I have to admit, this is the best attempt at killing me yet" came his snarky comment, pulling himself to his feet and brushing off any dust that had fallen onto him.

She was not expecting the dodge, and rather unelegantly stumbled into the wall. Hissing as she made contact, Aurelia soon righted herself and stood again. This was not supposed to happen. By now he should be dead, not making sarcastic comments. No wonder he had survived this long with such awful security, and with that tongue on him as well. Somewhere in her she felt a fleeting respect for the prince, he had not tried to call for help or escape as most would have done.

There was no obvious way to kill him if he had predicted a move she had made when invisible. She would have to try another tact. Standing tall and proud (even though she was a few inches shorter than the prince, which irked her slightly) she released her power and faded back into view. "Thank you your highness, it's truly an honour to be in your esteemed company," she drawled out. When this was finished she would cut out his insolent tongue and bring it back for proof.

      Fenrir Lydel
    Fen ✴ Prince ✴ Nineteen

#00BF80 Fenrir watched as she revealed herself, smirking at her clear irritation with him, which, of course, was expected. "It is truly an honor to be in my presence, my dear" he sneered as he slowly walked around her so he was now the one with his back to the door since he did need some sort of escape route of course.
#00BF80 "Now this question is of utmost importance to me at the moment, as I must know." He paused. "Does whoever sent you know how I have avoided any previous assassination attempts? or were you sent in blindly, hm?" he asked, tilting his head to the side and placing a hand on his hip. Surely, he thought, she has to know, everyone knows that I can sense danger it isn't a little known secret, he told himself pondering if someone really didn't know about his unique ability. "And may I add your ability to go invisible is truly interesting" he cooed with a smirk, clearly trying to annoy her further.

Aurelia Winters
aura ❖ ━ ━ ❖ assassin ❖ ━ ━ ❖ eighteen ❖ ━ ━ ❖ hetero

Three seconds, three seconds, and she could have a knife to his throat. Four seconds he would be dead, and then she could take her sweet time gloating over the arrogant prince. "Of course I know, everyone knows. Seems you can't keep your mouth shut." It seemed he was more bored than scared, she would not be beaten by a boy who had never drawn blood. "I'm here to kill you, not to chat. And my client is confidential."

So he thought her ability was interesting then? She slipped back into invisibility and went to the door. He would not be getting out that way. To jump from the window would be fatal, and there were no other exits. Aurelia reappeared, leaning against the door. To leave he would have to go through her. "I'm not like any of those pathetic court ladies who flock around you, I am cut from a different cloth. I will kill you tonight."
