"You're not the only one," growled Cosimia. "Even just saying the word makes me want to throw up."
The alpha followed the loner obediently into the den, keeping his cool despite there being hunters just by them. Quickly, Cosimia realised the den was far too small to fit in both of them, and he tip-toed out.
"I'll stay on guard." murmed Cosimia, his eyes scanning the bushes for signs of movement. The snow was falling heavily, but the white specks dressing his body acted as a camouflage in the snow. Cold wind slapped him but he stood as still as a statue, barely breathing. Cosimia sniffed the air like a connoisseur-the humans were dangerously close.
