Before she could even react, Olympia witnessed her owner swing open the entrance to his home with two suitcases in his hands, one significantly smaller then the others. Perking her ears, the dame squeezed herself from the rusted dog kennel, her tail wagging warily. Peter roughly placed a harness onto her frame, leading her to his car quickly. Ly couldnt entirely understand what was going on, but his scent of stress told her to follow him.
Worry dragged her tail down as she was thrown into the four-doored car, his suitcases placed by her side. Tilting her ears, Olympia couldnt help but flinch lightly as Peter slammed the door shut before running back to the front seat of the car, his hands slipping around the steering wheel.
Letting out a bark, the shepherd crawled into the front seat, whines of concern rumbling from her throat, though she didnt even try to stop them from coming out. Her owner just continued on his own, speeding out from their driveway before placing a phone to his ear. As he spoke, his eyes grew colder and angrier with each word, the volume from both ends of the phone increasing. It eventually grew too loud for her liking as Ly began to crawl back into the back seat, small barks leaving her jaws as she did so. Peter hung up the phone with a huff.
After only moments of twisting around back-roads, the two merged onto a highway, Peter's nails hitting the steering wheel in a fidgeting way filling the car. Olympia was confused, she didnt understand what was going on, but by the way her owner continuously looked at his side mirrors told her something was happening. -And it wasnt a good something, either. Nervously licking her muzzle, Ly tilted her head at her owner, letting out a bark of question. "Whats going on?" Though she knew he couldnt understand her, she half expected an immediate response, though all she got was a stern growl from Peter, presumably telling her to shut up. In his mind, he was running from something, trying to avoid being caught for a crime which was linked back to him.
He had stolen too much and the bank had tracked him down, contacting the police. Knowing he had to run away or be faced with jail-time, he had chosen the easier though more worrisome path. Huffing, Olympia rested her head on her paws, shutting her eyes as snow piled onto the windows. At least she was warm now.
