She frowed " you will.." she said as she looked at the floor.. she wanted to go with him and explore this side of town more but she thought he would say no so she just said " okay. " and nodded 'idiot.' She thinks

Jay nodded briskly to Reya before slipping out and down the streets. He stopped only when he reached the market and began to browse stands holding various blades from knives to swords. Jay picked up a particularly ornate dagger and weighed it carefully in his hands. He bought it from the shadowy figure behind the stand for three silver pieces and pocketed it quickly.

She frowned as she looked at him leave. She decided to quietly recite a poem off of the top of her head about a man who was blinded and couldn't see life for what it was in front of him until he met a girl in the forest who made him see. She smiled a little as she said it to herself

Jay opened the door to his family's house and smiled at the poem Reya was reciting. "That's a nice poem. What's it about?" He asked, slinging his cloak over the back of a chair and leaning on it. He smiled, holding out the lovely dagger to Reya. "I got this for you. You'll need to defend yourself if you ever encounter trouble."

She looked up from him " well umm. It's about a man who has depression and who thinks that life is worthless yet he keeps on living. He's out in the woods thinking about jumping in the river when he meets a girl.. she shows him that life can be great and they fall in love.. what no one knows it the end of the poem because it's scribbled out. But there's one line from.it.. All good things come to an erupt end." She said as she took the dagger "th-thank you" she smiled as she takes it

"Sounds... Sad," He said simply. "Just don't use that on me," Jay added, gesturing to the dagger, smiling slightly. He slipped into his room and sat at his desk. "Go into Elizabeth's room and sort out where you're sleeping if you'd like," Jay called from his room.

"Sitting in my room. What else would I be doing?" Jay answered plainly looking back at the princess. "Ask whatever questions you like, princess and I'll do my best to deliver," He offered, sighing. "You have ten minutes," He added quickly, not wanted to spend too much time on questions.
