She smiled slightly. "I tried to tell him that. Jay seems to dwell in the past," Elizabeth explained quietly. "And I'm sure it meant more to him than you or even Jay may think," She added to Reya.

Adelia smirked. She got up, giving Alexander one more quick glance before slipping out of his room and down the halls. She arrived at the healers' quarters to find everyone sleeping. Good, she thought to herself, settling down in her own bed.

Jay got up and sat at his desk, guilt still gnawing at his thoughts. He began to write. He wrote about what had happened the day before and what he had done.

Adelia got up and quickly got dressed. She grabbed a broom and dashed off to Alexander's room.She knocked twice on the door.
