In The Fall

“I-I didn’t know,” Rocket said quietly. “I’m sorry...”

He pulled her closer to him, one hand falling on her cheek and wiping the tears away.

[euphoria,]

gabbi looked at him, frowning. "it isnt your fault... you got there as soon as you could...." she nodded, placing her hand on his.

[etchnyx]

Her grabbed her chin lightly and tiled her head up. Even though it was dark, he knew their eyes were meeting each other’s.
“Stay by my side or in front of me for now on,” He said, wiping another tear away. “I won’t let anyone hurt you.”

[euphoria,]

she stared into his eyes, now used to the dark. she giggled. "what are you, my body guard?" she sniffled, tilting her head at him. she smiled softly. there was something about rocket.

“I am now,” Rocket said, a little chuckle escaping through his lips.

gabbi chuckled, laying her head against his chest again. she shut her eyes, taking in the moment. she was happy. but it was too early to have feelings... right?

[etchnyx]

Rocket let out a small sigh.
“Sleep now,” He said.
He closed his eyes and fell asleep, once again.

[euphoria,]

gabbi giggled, falling asleep in his arms. she didn't wake up the rest of the night.

Rocket jolted to the sound of alarm, but managed not to awaken Gabbi. He smiled as she slowly got up, setting her back down before going over to his phone and turning off the alarm. He needed a shower.
He grabbed his towel and sweatpants with a crimson t-shirt along with the usual bathroom necessities before leaving and heading to the bathrooms.
It was still pretty early, so not many students were awake.

Gabbi woke up about 30 minutes later, groaning. She stood up, popping her back. She huffed, walking to the bathroom. When she walked in she saw Rocket and yelped. "Sorry!" She squealed, walking back out. She blushed deeply.
