In The Fall

Rocket slowly woke up, hearing the sniffs and whimpers from Gabbi. He rose up and got out, slowly making his way to her.
“Hey,” He whispered. “What’s up!”

Gabbi turned away. "N-Nothing..." She whimpered, tryibg to wipe the tears out of her eyes. "Just allergies." She said, trying to play it off

Rocket chuckled.
“It was a nightmare, wasn’t it?” He asked, he tilted his head even though he knew she wouldn’t be able to see the playful expression he had on his face.

gabbi sighed and nodded, sniffling. "Yeah..." She whispered softly. "You can go back to sleep..." She said. "Sorry I woke you." She said. Gabbi didnt want him to go to bed, but she knew he wanted to

Rocket chuckled.
“I’ve already woken up,” He said. “I can’t go back to sleep now.”
He inches closer to her, still trying to let the darkness adjust so he would at least be able to take in the features of her face.
“Tell me about the nightmare,” He whispered, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and letting her head lay on his chest.

Gabbi let her head fall into his chest, whimpering softly. "The dude.... He got what he wanted... You didnt stop him because you didn't see..." She whispered, pushing herself more into him.

“What do you mean?” Rocket asked, laying his chin on top of her head.

gabbi looked at him. "he did it. what he tried to do? he succeeded. and nobody helped me because nobody saw." she whimpered, hiding her face in his chest. she didn't look up. she was extremely afraid.

“What do you mean he did it?” Rocket asked. He became tense beside her. “He didn’t just touch you?”

gabbi let out a sob and shook her head. "he did it all..." she said, letting herself go limp against his body. she felt one tear after another rapidly fall down her face.
