Estrella woke up the next morning and went out, knocking on everyone’s door saying “wake up!”. She then made her way to the kitchen and served herself some cereal.

Jackson groaned when he heard Star knocking st his door. He got out and went to Erin’s room. “Hey”, he said with a smile, leaning against the door a bit.

Erin looked at him. “Hi.” She said softly, her eyes drifting down. She loooked at him with uncertainty. “Can I talk to you?” She asked him, eyes drifting to her hands, which were shaking.

Jackson walked in and had a concerned look on his face. “Yeah sure, what’s wrong?”, he asked looking down at her shaking hands.

“I-I got a call. I have to go away for a few months to work.” She sniffled. “And I want to go, to provide for all of us.”

“Well I guess it seems nice but come on, you don’t have to provide for all of us. We are all going to do this together not just you earning money for all of us”, he paused for a bit. “Besides, I don’t want you to leave”

“Yeah, I know, but I can barely pay my share of bills.” She looked at him, a sad expression on her face. “I have to go, Jacky.”

“I’ll pay for your share for as long as you want”, he offered. “Please don’t leave”, he pouted playfully.

“No, I have to do this myself.” She said, and looked at him. “I can’t always rely on someone to pay my bills.” She started packing a bag.

He sat on her bed and watched her pack up. It made him sad but he had to be strong for her and let her do something she wants to do.

Erin left and got on the plane. Her heart felt broken in two but she had to go. She cried part of the way.
