Maria took the Ice Beam in order to protect Mary. As they both missed their attacks, Maria used U-turn and Mary used Headbutt. They wanted to win this battle.

[Boomer]

Maria growled a bit as her attack was neutralized by Absol's attack. She and Mary teamed up for Bite attacks.

[Boomer]

Mary got out of the way just in time, but Maria got hit. She was close to fainting at this point. Mary was doing a little bit better than Maria. The sisters used U-turn and Bite, hoping one of their attacks would land.

[Boomer]

Mary looked over to Maria and gave a nod. Maria panted a bit, then sat down. The sisters were sore and had taken a lot of damage. Lusamine entered the gym with Alessa in her arms. "Oh, I missed it..." she murmured, "I'm sure you all did well." Alessa was asleep, so she didn't react.

[Boomer]

Lusamine took the Pokeballs back, then nodded. "Yes, they should." she said, "Return the twins and we'll get them down to the lab." Maria laid down as she was too tired to sit. Mary lightly nuzzled Maria's cheek.

[Boomer]

The sisters didn't fight as they were returned. Lusamine clipped the Pokeballs to her belt before walking towards the elevator. "How did you feel battling with such strong Pokemon?" she asked, touching Lillie's shoulder, "You and Snowy can be that strong if you two work together."

[Boomer]

"They're a bit too strong to battle with Snowy." said Lusamine softly, "They might knock her out with one move." She took the Pokeballs from Lillie, then set them in the machine. "You can try with Herdier." she suggested.

[Boomer]

"Of course, I'm sure they'd like that." said Lusamine softly, "You'll have to train with Snowy every day. I remember when I was your age and began training." Lusamine heard the machine go off, then collected her Pokeballs. She let Lillie take the twins' Pokeballs.

[Boomer]

Mary and Maria shook themselves as they came out. "Thanks." said Maria, smiling some. Mary looked to the sleeping Poochyena pup.

[Boomer]

"That sounds like a good idea." said Maria quietly, "I'm tired!" "So am I." said Mary softly.
