She returned an hour or so later and kicked off her shoes, exhausted from walking. She was calmer now but extremely tired as she curled up on her bed. Thunder came in and curl around her. When she woke up, she changed into some comfortable, black yoga pants and a white shirt. Thunder had gotten up to go lay on the floor. Dawn walked out to her backyard and sat down on one of the chairs as Thunder played in the grass. A smile formed on her lips.

Loki had disappeared for the time being and left her alone for a while. Though when he returned she was outside and he stood by. Watching the dog and her and seeing the smile curiously.

“Loki!” She yelped surprised when he appeared. She stood up and spoke quickly. “Look, I’m sorry about earlier. I didn’t mean to snap at you. I’m just very sensitive about my past but that was no reason for me to get all upset. I should’ve controlled my emotions and...” Her voice trailed off, she was unable to meet his eyes as she rambled on. Now that she had time to think she had realized that her reaction had been a little extreme. “Is there anyway I could make it up to you?” She asked.

He seemed rather surprised by her sudden words and looked at her curiously. "Its fine I didn't come for an apology," he said honestly. then furrowed his brows slightly. "I actually don't know why I came back"

She felt herself relax. He wasn’t upset with her. That was surprising. She had thought he would be mad. The smile was slowly returning. “You came back because you have no where else to be.”

[SpotSong]

He scratched the back of his head ever so slightly. "Yeah, I guess that may be so" he agreed with a little nod.

She looked up at him for a moment long before standing on her toes, balancing for a few seconds. “I don’t like that you’re taller than me.” She huffed with a fake pout.

He smirked slightly at her struggle and crouched down a little and was level with her. "Better?"

“No. That makes me feel worse.” She said frowning. It wasn’t fair how pretty much everyone was taller than her but she honestly didn’t care as much as she pretended to.

"hmmm I like you shorter," he said honestly and with a smile, he stood up.
