BB8 apologized on Poe's behalf, stating that he was really stressed before she arrived and blames everything that happened on himself. BB8 was a really straight forward droid.

She sighed and looked ahead for a moment, thinking, before looking down at him. “I get that. But not saying anything doesn’t help anyone.” She pointed out.

[Master Obi-Wan]

BB8 didn't havea straight answer for her but the closest the droid could get was that, that's just have Poe functions. He will apologise eventually. Hopefully.

”Well I hope he doesn’t except anything from me.” She told him, messing with her hair as she thought. She had nothing to apologize for anyhow. Right?

[Master Obi-Wan]

bB8 assured her that they will sort it out eventually. Time will heal all wounds.

”I hope you’re right. Speaking of time, how much further until we get to the base?” She asked, gladly changing the subject.

[Master Obi-Wan]

BB8 took a moment to scan the report, and stated that they had about fourty more minutes of total flight, twenty of which will be spent in hyperspace.

”Thank you. Maybe by the time we get back to the base Dameron will think about talking to me.” She sighed.

[Master Obi-Wan]

BB8 hoped that was the case, and everything would be settled peacefully.

Time flew by for her as she thought about her past, what had just happened, going to be with Luke. It was a lot to think about.
