CHairty took a deep breath and stood beside the door. “You will escort me out of this cell and to a ship.” Her voice was clear and just loud enough for him to hear. This had to work. There would be no other way for her to get off this ship. It seemed like she’d be able to escape and without any new information gained by the First Order. They didn’t even know her name. That was how it should be. They needed to know that the Reistance would win.

"That's not happening." he said in response and banged on the door again, where he assumed her head would be near to. "The only place I will be escorting you to would be your execution. Or wherever the General would want to have you locked away or tortured in." the trooper added and returned back to the duty. Leaving the room and the whole hallway silent again. And through this silence a faint sound could be heard. It sounded like...scratching? And it also sounded like it was coming from somewhere within Charity's cell. The bathroom?

She had missed her opportunity. That was great. Hopefully there would be another chance. For now there was another issue. More of a noise than an issue but still eerie and odd. It was clear that it was coming from within the cell but unclear where exactly. It sounded like the bathroom. Charity slowly made her way towards the noise. “Who’s there?” She asked in the firmest voice she could manage.

As Charity spoke up the scratching suddenly stopped, as if startled by the noise. The bathroom was empty, still just the toilet and four walls. The silence set back in but for only a moment. As some small noise occurred and something greenish suddenly flashed through a small vent close to the ceiling, the vent was rather very small. Whatever was green that flashed through the vent seemed like a pair of bright green eyes, some scratching resumed as it seemed to have shuffled furthered away from the vent. The trooper outside didn't seem to hear any of this, which wasn't surprising due to the heavy bolt doors that were somewhat sound proof only if a person stood very close to the door, then they would hear anything.

It seemed to be some sort of animal. Church put her legs on opposite sides of the wall and pulled herself up to the vent and removed the bars. A small animal was up there. “Hello there. Come here. Come on little one. I won’t hurt you.” She said in a low, sweet voice.

The kitten instantly flinched away as the metal bars were removed. The kitten was too far from the mouth of the vent to reach it but it didn't seem like it was planning on going away. It just stayed there looking at Charity. From the little light that was in the bathroom, it could clearly be seen that the kitten had ginger fur, green eyes, a black collar and it was holding a small green toy in its mouth, that in a weird way matched the kittens eyes.

She clicked her tongue. “Come here. I won’t hurt you. I just want to see where you come from.” The young woman stopped herself. What was she doing? Why she was talking to a cat was beyond her but it seemed cute and she would’ve liked something to do other than sit there and think. Her muscles were getting sore from holding herself in the air. Reaching out a hand, she pushed her feet up the wall so she could edge close to the kitten. The vents were actually larger than expected. It seemed like she could crawl through. Maybe she could make it to the nagar that way. The idea was insane but then again, being a Jedi was insane as well and she had trained with one. Still, the idea fell from her mind. “What’s that you’ve got there?” Her voice was still soft as she pulled herself up again. She’d need to build up her strength before escaping.

Charity's words actually made the kitten react in a small way. It seems that the kittens owner must have used similar word because the kitten moved closer to Charity and placed the toy closer to her. The toy looked like a green bird like creature of some sorts, it had many scratch marks and teeth marks on it, it also had some parts of it sown back together. It must be a beloved possession by the kitten. The kitten was now closer too, and on its collar was a small shiny metal tag in the shape of the First Order Insignia, in the middle of which was written: 'Millicent'. So the kitten was a girl. At the back of the tag it had a few details which were rather confusing to understand. It read: 'HC/G:A.H'. Then presumably a room number: 'c207' and below that were a few more rather cryptic letters and numbers: 'B/Fe'.

The kitten was clearly a girl and she was cute. The question was, why was she on an imperial ship? Charity carefully picked up the toy with her elbows pushing the hard metal to keep herself up. She held her arms up and dropped back down into the cell hoping the kitten would follow. It wasn’t extremely far down and she’d heard of cats jumping farther so it really shouldn’t hurt the kitten. Wether this kitten was apart of the First order it couldn’t make that choice so she’d gladly play with the kitten. It would hopefully get rid of some of her stress and help her think more clearly. “ Down here Millie.” She said holding the toy for the kitten to see

The kitten seemed to be reacting to the nickname very well. Millicent seemed captivated by the toy too, her gaze following it everywhere. The kitten also now stood on the somewhat edge of the vent, her head peaking out and looking into the bathroom. After several long stares from the kitten it seemed like she was getting ready to jump down, but there was some hesitancy in her movements. Her paws were carefully balanced on the edge of the vent and she aimed to jump down. After a few false starts the kitten jumped down and landed on her paws, instantly getting closer to Charity to follow her toy.
