She turned her back to the frosty air. It made her skin crawl.. she hears something coming through the grass toward her. She looked up at the stars " f-father..st-storm kit if im coming to starclan let mama know. ." She whispered shakily as she hear's it coming closer..

He nodded his head, padding out of the warriors den towards FlameStars den. Peeking around the corner, CrowShadow cleared his throat. "Flamestar? We'd like to join your search patrol. All of them."

He padded onwards, small whispers catching his attention. Perking his ears, the bracken tom crept through the grass, spotting a hollowed tree. Shivering due to the cold, he decided that'd be a good place to rest for a while. Pinepaw slowly padded towards it, peeking his head through and nearly jumping back in fright at the sight. Riverpaw.

She let's out an alarmed scream . Lpoking at him, she felt her eyes widen. " y-you found me?" She was backed up against the wall, her fur puffed out and her back arched high. " you came after me? Why? " she looked eveN more confused

FlameStar gave the two cautious looks, tilting his head. "Okay, wake up before dawn please." Flicking his tail in dismissal, he turned his back on the two. Sighing, Crowshadow padded away, venturing back towards the warriors den.

He glanced down at his paws, shrugging slightly. "I guess we both wouldn't of survived without each other, sort of." Meeting her gaze, Pinepaw shifted his weight from paw to paw. "We should stay here for the night, maybe this is the way back to our clans? Oh, and I've brought a peace-offering." Sheepishly smiling, he nudged the lean squirrel forwards.

She nodded and padded into her nest. She curls up and sighs " I need to sleep.. i need to " she whispered softly as she felt her tail twitch

She looked into his green eyes.. " yes let's just stay here " she tried to make room for him. Looking at the squireel she sniffed at it " d-do you..do you want to share pinepaw? "

He padded after her, gently lapping at her cheek. "Good night Ravenfeather." He curled around his body, laying down next to his beloved.

He nervously looked into her eyes, crawling into the hollow tree. "If you'd like, its pretty thin though so you can have the first bites." Pinepaw lapped at his paws, cleaning the grime from them. "Sorry about earlier." The tom murmured, feeling guilty for hs actions.

She sighed softly " good night.." she whispered as she presses against him and purrs.. pressing her grey tabby fit against his, she lapped his cheek before closing her eyes

She looked at him with a small frown. " im sorry too.." she mews softly as she takes a bite of the squirrel. She pat a spot beside her with her tail " it's cold..we should warm up " she mews

Smiling, he looked down at her for a while before nestling down and closing his eyes. CrowShadow's eyelids felt heavy, and he knew that RavenFeather would've been tired too. Stress had to of been wearing them both down.

Smiling gratefully, Pinepaw shuffled closer to her, pressing his coat to hers. It surprised him how nervous he had been when she was in close proximity to him. Letting out a dramatic shiver, Pinepaw looked over at Riverpaw. "How did you not freeze?" He mreowed, licking the icey dew from off of his chest and paw pads.

His ears perked, and he shyly looked at the entrance of the tree. "Me? Nervous? Pfft, never." Pinepaw exclaimed, coiling his tail around the front of his paws. Changing the topic, he turned back to her. "Do you, hate me- or something?" It sure felt like it. The tom couldnt help but let his eyes trail off to her beautiful fur.
