The small blue she cat huffs. She looked at her small paws and nodded "yes Crowshadow " she mews " I'm. Tired..can I get a badger ride?" She asked with huge eyes

CrowShadow chuckled, hoisting Riverkit onto his back, before picking the jay in his mouth. Using heavy footsteps, he stomped through the forest, heading towards the camp. He'd occasionally slouch forwards, pushing Riverkit forwards with him slightly. Then other times he'd do a small jump, bucking her just enough to be gentle and fun all at once. When they arrived at the camp, he padded towards the nursery, gently allowing Riverkit to hop off, and seeing if RavenFeather had been looking for her kit.

Ravenfeather was running around camp looking in every nook and cranny to see if her baby was there. Shesaw her and gasped " RIVER KIT! " she yelled as she ran to her kit
"Are you mad?."
"Mad!? I'm furious but oh starclan you're okay!" She curled around her baby and lapped at her coat " she followed you I presume?" She asked

CrowShadow nodded, his eyes filling with worry. RavenFeather was trembling. "Yeah, I took her straight home... Well, I gave her a badger-ride home. Are you okay Ravenfeather?" His voice was filled with concern, his eyes wide. The fluffy grey tom had been too swept up in hunting and Riverkit had followed. If he had just heard her loud footsteps instead of focusing on the scent of prey, he would've saved RavenFeather from the heartache of losing her kit. Guilt gurgled at the back of his throat. What if something had happened to the silvery kit? What if she had been stolen by a fox when he hadnt been watching; he wouldnt of even noticed! Worst of all, what if she had gotten lost in the thorn bushes? She could've died!

She lapped her kit who mewls In protest to try get away from.her mother
"I can't thank you enough Crowshadow " she lapped his cheek as if he was a kit as well. " you'll be going to the dark forest next time.you do that young she cat..you hear me?" She snapped at her kit who nodded and ran to the nursery. " they'll listen to silver heart while we are gone " she looked more relaxes and relieved

He nodded, chuckling to himself lightly at Ravenfeather's warning towards her kit. CrowShadow glanced down at the jay in-between his paws, picking it up in his jaws. "Ready to go?" He mreowed, his voice slightly muffled. The sky above them was dark, filled with shining stars. Silver-pelt was easy to point out, and the moon filtered shining, silvery light that made RavenFeathers tabby coat shimmer as brightly as the stars. Sometimes CrowShadow would wonder which stars Stormkit and DarkHeart were, and if to only RavenFeather and himself, they shone the brightest. That was what he liked to tell himself. It was rather comforting to think that.

She nodded " I'm ready as I'll ever be..to be honest..I'd rather be on this walk with you than that..Fox." she huffed as she walks with him, she flirtacously wrapped er tail around his as they pad together

For a mere second, his body stiffened- before joy fluttered his chest and his grey fur shivered with warmth. "I hope he understands what he did wrong, otherwise- well, thats sort of pathetic." Padding forwards, he made sure he hadnt been walking too fast to un-entwine their tails. Frost crunched under his paws, and it was weird to think that it was bordering Leaf-Bare already. It still felt as if it was the middle of New-leaf, right before any tragedy had stricken. Moonlight pooled onto their coats, mingling the stars with differing shades of grey. All CrowShadow could hear was the sound of his heart beating loudly in his chest, scratching closer to his skin each time. He hadnt been that happy in a long time, ever since DarkHeart and him had been apprentices.

She padded to the lake with him, she looked at the star patterned water which reflected in her eyes " wow.. it looks amazing..silverpelt is.shining brightly.. so I'm guessing they approve of this.." she whispered softly as ravenfeather sat down a bit away from. The water..scared of falling in..she was always weary around rivers.. she had named her kits after her fears..storms..badgers.. and rivers.. sighing softly , she relaxed

CrowShadow padded over to RavenFeather, edging slightly closer to the river then he had intended to. Dropping the beautiful jay from his jaws, he nudged it towards her, before jumping to his feet. "Hang on a moment." He whispered, padding away towards a thicket. Thorns snagged at his coat, though he ignored the annoying pains. After all, it w as beyond worth it. Picking a flower and holding it between his jaws, he wiggled his way out from the bush, quickly padding back to Ravenfeather. He dropped the flower at her paws, giving her a lopsided grin. Its petals went from blue to white, dulling out as it got closer to the edge of the petals.
