Fear The Walking Dead (1x1)

"Alright," she agreed. She leaned into Troy, her arms wrapped around him and her head on his shoulder. She kept her eyes closed, breathing evenly now.

[Light Bringer]

Troy pressed the side of his head against Malia's and listened closely to the sound of the walkers snarling and foot steps. They just needed it to quiet down for a moment and they'd be able to get out of there.

Malia hugged him tighter, and pressed her lips to his cheek. More walkers bumped against the closet door, making her flinch.

[Light Bringer]

Even Troy couldn't help but flinch whenever a walker hit against the door. He felt quite defenseless and vunerable in the closet.

When Malia felt Troy flinch, she held him closer, kissing his temple. She hated hearing the walkers, feeling them hit the door.

Having Malia close to him made Troy feel a little better and, although he was still worried, he felt himself calm a little.

They had to stay in the closet for a while. The walkers kept coming in the room, instead of leaving. Despite all the noise and the fact that it wasn't exactly comfortable in the closet, Malia found herself getting tired and drifting off to sleep. Her eyes were closed, and she made herself a bit more comfortable. She leaned against Troy more, not wanting to lean over when she fell asleep. Eventually she drifted off to sleep, her forehead resting against Troy's neck.

It took Troy quite a while to notice that Malia had fallen asleep. He had assumed that she was just getting comfortable and resting against him but after a while, he realized that she was asleep. Good. At least she didn't have to worry about being trapped in there any more.

Malia dreamed that the walkers had broken into the closet and ripped them apart, eating them. Malia woke up with a gasp, startled. She was relieved when she realised that it had just been a dream.

Troy hushed Malia once more, worried that walkers had heard them. After a moment of listening it seemed as though there was no change. In fact, it sounded like there were less walkers than before. Maybe this was their chance.
