Fear The Walking Dead (1x1)

If they were to climb out the window, it would put them right in the middle of the horde. She closed the door to the bedroom and locked it. She knew, though, that they would be able to break it down. They had already gotten through the front door, and that had been locked also. She gripped her spear tightly, and glanced at Troy, unsure of what to do.

[Light Bringer]

After a moment of searching, Troy pointed to the closet. "Quick, into the closet!" He whispered, urgently as he ran for the closet and opened it. "We can hide here until they leave or until it's safe enough to run."

Malia hesitantly went over to Troy and crawled into the closet. It wasn't tall enough for her to stand, so she sat on the floor with her back against the wall. It was small, barely able to fit two people. She heard walkers bumping into the bedroom door, trying to get in.

[Light Bringer]

Troy crawled in after Malia and pulled the door closed behind him. It was uncomfortable and cramped but Troy would get over it, after all, it was better than getting eaten alive by walkers.

Malia cringed a bit when he closed the door. It was dark in the closet, completely pitch black. The walls seemed to close in on her, suffocating her. Her breaths hitched and were shaky. She breathed in short, quick breathes, feeling like there wasn't enough air. She started to quiver a bit, feeling trapped. She hated being trapped in small spaces. She hated confinement.

Troy leaned as close to Malia as he could get and whispered under his breath. "You alright?" He asked, noticing the change in her breathing. He just hoped that she wasn't claustrophobic.

Malia shook her head, trying to control her racing heartbeat. She didn't want the walkers outside to hear her panting. She drew in one shaky breath after the other, getting more panicked by the second. She was trembling, and curled up into a ball, trying to make herself smaller. The walls were closing in on her. She could feel it.

Troy hushed Malia softly, he took her hand and bagan massaging her knuckles. "Shhh, it's alright." He whispered under his breath again. "You're going to be fine. We both are. Alright?"

Malia leaned towards Troy and rested her head under his, her cheek against his chest. Tears streamed silently down her face, and she breathed shakily. She whimpered a bit, pressing against him. She just wanted out of there.

Troy continued to hush Malia softly as he held her close and began stroking her hair. "We'll be out if here before you know it." He whispered, softly.
