"I wish everyone thought that way," she muttered, thinking about the past. Forcing her thoughts back to the present, she asked, "So, when do we leave? As tired as I am, I'd rather not run into anymore walkers on our own."

[Light Bringer]

"Trust me, so do I." Troy muttered under his breath. "We'll leave as soon as you think you can walk to the other somewhat by yourself."

Malia grimanced. "That might take a while. Especially since we don't have any medicine."
She sighed, exhausted. "I need to rest first."

[Light Bringer]

Troy nodded his head. "Look, there's a bedroom or two upstairs. I can take you to one of those and you can rest while I keep watch."

"Okay... But you will have to rest eventually." She reached up and grabbed a hold of the table. She gripped it tight and tried to pull herself up.

Troy stood up and watched her for a moment before offering her a hand up.

Malia took his hand and used it help her stand. Once she stood, she dropped it and held on to the table to keep her steady.

"Think you can manage to walk up the stairs?" Troy asked, glancing over at Malia's leg.

[EchoOfShatteredIce]

"Probably not," she admitted, grimacing at her injury. "I think I should get myself a cane or something, no?" she tipped her head to the side, eyes twinkling. "I probably will need one to walk tomorrow, though," she said, more seriously, frowning.

"We'll figure something out for tomorrow, right now though, I can help you." Troy said, walking around so he was standing beside Malia to be able to help her.
