Fear The Walking Dead (1x1)

Malia looked up when she heard someone walking towards them. It was Qaletaqa, and she watched him approach them, wondering what he wanted.

[Light Bringer]

Troy looked at Qaletaqa and sighed a little bit. Something told him that this wasn't going to end well. "What do you want, Walker?"

"The wells are all dry but one. We need to fine a new water source," he said.

[Light Bringer]

"Try telling me something I don't know." Troy muttered, thinking about where they would find a new water source.

[EchoOfShatteredIce]

"Where did the water from the lake come from?" she asked Troy. "Was there a river before?"

[Light Bringer]

"Yeah, but that river dried up a long time ago. We thought the rain would be enough to keep the lake filled but, obviously, we were wrong."

[EchoOfShatteredIce]

"How long ago? How far does the river go? Where was its source?"

[Light Bringer]

(I apologize for taking so long. I just got home from a convention and things were a little crazier than I thought they would be.)

"A few months ago." Troy responded simply. "Jake and I never actually paid attention to how far or where it went. Maybe my dad wrote something about it in a notebook or journal of his."

Malia nodded. "We can travel up the river and see where it leads to. Maybe something's blocking the water from flowing."

"Makes sense. Maybe you should stay here though. I don't want your wound to get any worse." Troy said. "I'm sure I can handle myself for a little bit."
