Emma shrugged, "Clearly they serve a purpose or why else would they exist? I mean- " She stopped herself before saying anything else, she wasn't completely aware of the fact that he had put his hand on her arm, Emma shook her head when Preston had called himself worthless. Emma actually felt pretty awkward just following him around his apartment and she wasn't sure if she should just leave and find him another day or stay and try to comfort him through his moment of feeling worthless. She sighed before speaking again, "What's making you feel worthless? The fact that you may never become an angel again?" She asked, "You should be glad that you had a chance. I never got one." She wasn't mad just a little confused. Emma wasn't sure what was making Preston feel worthless, was it the fact that they had kissed? She had already told him that it was alright. It might've thrown off a little bit; in the end, a kiss won't kill her.

Preston found some ramen noodles and started to cook them. "You know how Angels and Demons have a role. Either to help or cause chaos/pain. Well it's like a fallen angel can't do either. They can't help or cause harm. Well I guess they could...but I mean.. oh I don't know...I don't know how to describe it." He had to think. "I guess I'm just used to having someone telling me what to do. Besides, Angels and Demons have some sort of cool power. Like my twin, he can control fire, and make it appear. I could heal people. Like if someone was depressed I could make them happy, or if someone was ill I could make them well." He sighed. "A fallen angel just can't do either of that." When the ramen noddles were done, he put them in a bowl and started to eat them. "There really isn't anything special about me. I can't help people like I used to do." He said.

Emma shook her head, "Why not? Just think of Fallen Angels as the balance between good and evil, you aren't purely good, but you aren't purely evil either. " She sat on the counter, "Think about it if everyone was good, then there'd be no reason to be bad and life would be boring and if everyone was bad then life would be chaotic, but there's always a neutral option between the two and that's what a Fallen Angel is." She watched him eat, "Hell, I haven't even figured out my role as a Demon yet." Swinging her feet she sighed, thinking about Preston's situation Emma started to wonder if she had any importance in anything, not that she had paid any attention, she hardly knew why she was back on Earth, to begin with. It took her awhile to do anything else, she hopped off the counter and gave Preston a slight hug, "Really, it'll be okay. Feeling useless isn't the worst thing in the world."

Preston felt his cheeks heat up when Emma hugged him. "Thanks for making me feel a bit better." When Preston got done he washed everything that was is in the kitchen. "It's getting late. You can sleep in my room if you like. I'll just sleep on the couch." He said and went over to it. Preston yawned and looked up at the ceiling for a while. He took off his glasses and rubbed the bridge of his nose before going to sleep.

"No prob." She gave him a slight smile, Emma accepted his offer and went to bed in Preston's room, though before falling asleep she made her daily rounds on social media and thought about the events of today, it made her realize how much being revived sucked. It was a few hours before she managed to calm down her mind and fall asleep, usually reading kept her up but tonight she was just other thinking what Preston had said.

In the morning Preston didn't wake up. He was really tired. When the sun came up, it was shinning in his face, so he moved a bit on the couch. It kinda caused him to be upside down. After some time, Preston woke up and freaked out a bit. He fell off the couch and landed on the ground. He searched for his glasses until he felt them and then put them on. "....must have been upside down." He said to himself. He went into the kitchen and started to make breakfast.

Emma rubbed her eyes as when she woke up, sighing she rolled out of Preston's bed and ran her hands through her mop of hair. She heard a slight thud and figured that Preston had woken up, stepping out into the living room she smiled, "Whatcha making?" She asked her head slightly tilted, a habit she had developed when she was younger. Emma yawned when Preston told her what he was making, "Alrighty. Oh and thanks for letting me stay over." She knew she could've gone home last night but something kept her from leaving and she had no idea what it was.

"I'm making pancakes and bacon." Preston said. "No problem." After breakfast was made, he put the food on two different plates and handed one to Emma. He went over to the living room and sat on his couch to eat. Preston didn't mind the company. He doesn't always like be lonely. It kinda bugged him to be alone. "So....I was wondering if you have wings. I never seen them before. I know Aaron has them, but I wasn't sure if all demons have them." He said looking at Emma.

Emma nodded, "I do. I hate them, but I do." She took a bite of her pancakes before adding on to her statement, "They're ugly, definitely not as nice as yours." She said. As she ate she wondered if she should show him or not, there wasn't anything special about a Demon's wings just that they're there to look intimidating. "Though there are different types of Demons and I'm not exactly sure what kind I am." It wasn't something she was proud of, being a Demon, it made her feel like there was something about her life she could've changed.

"Oh." Was all Preston said. When they were both done with eating, Preston took the plates and washed them, along with everything he used. He then went back over to the couch and sat on it. He looked at the floor and stared at it for a bit. "I'm kinda bored. Want to go do something?" He asked. Preston looked at Emma and smiled. "Maybe we could go play chess?" He suggested.
