Emma rubbed her eyes once she had gotten up, she may have gotten little to no sleep but anything sleep was an amount. She stretched as she made a cup or two of coffee. Yawning she got dressed, Emma had no plans for the day, but she felt that she needed to find something to do or someone to harass, she wondered what Preston was up to and she wondered if he found a place to live, she was going to offer to let him stay in her apartment but he left so fast she never got a word out. That was okay she didn't mind living alone even if the silence killed her. She figured she just start her day like any other, people watching at her favourite cafe with tea and a bagel.

Preston continued to try to walk around without his glasses. He kept bumping into people by mistake. They would shove him away. Eventually Preston made it to a cafe. He walked inside and order something. He asked them to bring it to his table since he couldn’t see and he didn’t want to spill something. Luckily there wasn’t many people so most tables were empty. Preston found a seat and down waiting for his drink and food.

Emma entered the cafe with a yawn, not expecting to see anyone she recognized. It took her moment but she recognized a lost looking figure sitting at a table, so of course she made her way over to Preston, “I thought you couldn’t see without your glasses?” She asked tilting her head slightly. Emma started to wonder how he even made it here without causing a commotion.

“I can’t. I kept tripping and bumping into people.” The person behind the counter brought Preston his drink and food. Preston looked in the general direction where the person is as and thanked them. “My twin took glasses, saying his friend needed them.” He sighed and rested his head on the table. “He was just probably saying that. I’m most likely not going to get them back.” He said.

“Well, that’s rough.” Emma took a moment to process what Preston had said and then shrugged, “Though... It still seems like your brother doesn’t care that you’re here. I mean, has he even stopped to visit you?” As much as she wanted to Emma wasn’t going to press any further. She knew it probably wasn’t the best idea to trash talk someone’s brother but to her it felt right. Considering the way he’s been treating Preston.

“He has friends. I don’t want to stop him from hanging out with them. Besides we basically lived with each other when we were alive.” He sat up and moved his hand around to get his tea. When he got it, Preston sipped on it. “Why do you even care?” He asked looking in her general direction. “We just met yesterday and I’m not a demon.” He wasn’t trying to be rude, he was just wondering.

She narrowed her eyes at him, “Does it matter what I am? We still have feelings and the common sense to know- to care about someone.” Emma adjusted herself so her head was resting on her head, “Maybe it’s just because I’m missing my family. I dunno.” She stared out the window not really wanting to make eye contact with Preston, not that he could even see her.

Preston sighed and rested his head on the table again. He felt like he made her sad or angry. He couldn’t tell. After an hour, Preston got up. “I’m going to go now. Sorry if I made you upset or angry.” He said. He grabbed his empty cup and slowly made his way to the trash can. He threw it away and walked through the door. Preston tripped over something and fell. He sighed and didn’t get up. He felt like there was no point in getting up, since he would trip or bump into people by mistake.

Emma wasn't having the awkward silence, she sat there waiting for him to say something and when he did she felt like his 'apology' was half-assed. She rolled her eyes at him, "You're not very social are you?" She shook her head as she watched him struggle to get out of the door. She then watched as he fell a slight smile creeping up on her face, Emma thought this would be a good opportunity to get back at him. Emma stood over him, "Not the best place to take a nap," She teased. Emma was annoyed with him and she wasn't going to let this moment pass. "Trust me I'd know." She smiled as people walked passed and made weird faces at the both of them, "Though, you're kinda in the way." She said as she poked him with her foot.

“I’m not trying to take a nap.” He flinched when she poked him with her foot. He slowly sat up and then stood up. “What do you want?” He asked with an annoyed face. “I don’t really want to do anything today. I need my glasses back so I can see.” He looked in her general direction. “I’m going to try to walk home now. I don’t care If you follow. I think I would enjoy the company after all.” He said with a grin. He started to head in the direction to his apartment. While walking to his apartment, he found out he could easily sense things that are near him. He could even tell what it was. When he got to his apartment building it was a bit tricky trying to find his door. After a few minutes he found his apartment and opened the door.
