Feeling her take his hand, his face flushed instantly but he let her guide him nonetheless. She's holding my hand. Is this what it feels like to hold a girl's hand? he thought to himself. He could see a few on lookers giving him strange looks as they passed, but he did his best did ignore them. He figured they still recognized the both of them from the sports festival. It wasn't everyday people got to see highly anticipated students out in public or to see one in a rather embarrassed state like he was. Hearing Ochako speak up as she pulled him along, he gave a small nod. "Don't worry, I won't push myself too much. I promise that to you," he told her. Was that a promise that he could actually keep? He wasn't even sure, but he'd try for her sake. He knew how much he worried her. Actually, he found it cute that she cared so much though he tried to hide such a fact. Having a girl worry over him was something he'd never really had. Well, except for his mother, but that was what mothers did.

As they neared the store she had decided on, Izuku glanced down at their hands wondering if he should pull his away or not. Maybe leaving it there a bit longer wouldn't hurt. Averting his gaze to the entrance, a faint smile crossed the teen's lips. This place seemed to have a lot of what they were looking for. At least that way neither of them would have to be bored looking at things they didn't want. "Come on, let's go inside." Pulling her forward toward the entrance, the boy stepped inside with his hand still locked with hers. "Do you wanna stick together in here or do you want to go look by yourself?"

"Thank you~ i don't know how i would feel if something was to happen to you.". Ah, she couldn't believe she said that out loud. The girl fought back her blush and seem to be slightly nervous now,but she wasn't going to run away. Just because she was feeling nervous or scared, that didnt mean she was going to run away from her problems . Not this time, Uraraka was going to stay by him this time..no more running away, although she felt her like her heart was about to jump out her chest. "Urr..we can umm..w-walk around here if you want. Besides, i might need your help picking out stuff." Geez, it felt like they where going on a date or something, she wondered if he felt the same as well. Anyway, She tried to push that thought aside. " I can also help you pick out some clothes to if you.snyway, let's do some shopping. " once they entered store, She made her way to a rack of clothing. So many clothes..what should she get?

Yet again her words made his heart flutter. His face only became redder as she spoke and he quickly tried to hide his face. Why must he get flustered so easily? Her words only made him want to confess the feelings that he had buried deep down inside him. Maybe she was trying to figure out if he liked him in that way. Could she actually like him in the same fashion? He really hadn't thought of that until now. Had he neglected to see that she might have an interest in him? He wasn't even sure what to look for when a girl was interested. It never had been something he had to be aware of. Was he supposed to make the first move to see if she actually did like him? Averting his gaze back to the girl, he wondered if he should make a move on her. Looking around, he wasn't sure if he wanted to with all these eyes on him yet at the same time it was becoming hard to hold back his emotions. Biting down on his lip, he gave her a small nod as she walked into the store and he followed. Get it together Izuku. You probably look like such a mess to her, he thought to himself. Stopping next to her, he watched her begin to go through the rack. "Sure, I'd love to get your opinions on what I find," he replied as he walked around to the other side of the rack to look at the guys stuff. As he began to look through the various articles of clothing, he looked up every so often toward Ochako. His head was screaming at him to make his move. What would she think if he suddenly kissed her or even just confessed? Dropping his gaze back down, he tried to push the thought out of his head, but he just couldn't.

(Do I make him go for it or nah? Haha. Just think of all the cute things they could do at camp if they actually knew of each other's feelings)

"Alright then, just let me know and i'll try my best to help you out. Urr..i kinda have a decent taste when it comes to clothes.". Ochako was a decent cloth shopper, she knew how to pick a nice outfit or two. Anyway, she started to look through some clothes, seeing some for females. Her eyes lid up when she found a top she liked. Nothing TO girly, it was just right...a tank top with a cute little stripe pattern. What would go with this shirt? some blue jean shorts and some brown sandals of course! it was strange, she was happy about shopping? was it because Izuku was here with her this time? that would explain alot. Once again, her head was swarming with the memories of the exams, slowly lowing the shirt she had in her hands. Ochako snapped out of it and looked at Izuku."So...umm...this shirt isn't that girly right?" she said and bit her lip some. How was she going to confess to him? could she even bring her self to do it?

Giving her a small nod, he continued on with the struggle that was going on in his head. He needed to get it out there. This was one of his only chances to be alone with her. Why was he hesitating then? Was he scared of how she would react. It was quite possible. For all he knew she might only see him as a friend and nothing more. Then he would look like a fool and he would have to find some way to down his feelings. If he simply stayed quiet then the possibly of being rejected would never be a thing, but he wouldn't know until he tried. It was an internal struggle. Trying to focus his mind on the clothing he was aimlessly going through, Izuku bit down on his lip in deep thought. The sound of Ochako's voice was what finally pulled him from his struggle and caused him to perk up once again. His eyes immediately left the shirt he had been looking at to look toward the tank top that she was holding up for him to see. It certainly was fitting for her and he had to admit, it was pretty cute. "No, I think it's perfect for you," he told her. Glancing down momentarily, he noticed that the shirt he had been on looked similar to the tank top she was holding up. It too was a tank, albeit for men, and it had the same stripe pattern to it. Taking it off the rack, he held it up and gave a hearty grin. "Heh, we could get matching shirts."

Had he actually just suggested such? His face turned bright red almost instantly and he lifted the shirt up to hide it. Now was the perfect time to admit his feelings. Why was he trying to hide from it? Lowering the shirt, he looked toward her with a sheepish smile on his face. "Actually Ochako, I want to tell you something." Stepping around the rack, Izuku stopped before her. His nerves were running high now and he couldn't believe he was about to confess. Allowing his expression to soften, he found himself meeting her gaze. Taking a moment to collect his thoughts, he knew he couldn't delay any longer. He needed to let it all out now. "You know, you are very important to me and well, you've always been so kind towards me. It's meant a lot to me. You're so positive and fun and I'm so glad I've met you. I guess what I'm trying to say is, um, I really like you!" He mentally slapped himself for saying it in such a manner, but he had panicked. Hopefully she wouldn't take it the wrong way and think he was only saying he liked her as a friend and nothing more.

Ochako saw the shirt he picked up, smiling brightly." Oh, that would be cute if we matched. However, i cant help the feeling people will tease us. Oh well." she said with a shrug "Also, thank you~ its a pretty simple shirt, i love it alot. Not i just need to find some shorts that would go with this and shoes. That souldn't be a problem. Dont worry, im not a shopper who takes forever." the girl paused, listening to what he said to her. She didn't say nothing,standing there speechless. Did he confess to her? did he like her as a best friend or...something more. Ochako's heart started beat against her chest, it could almost be heard and finally, after her little trance, she spoke." U-Umm..w-what do you mean by like? a-as a friend or...as s something else.." The girl bit her..almost a little to hard

Had he messed up? Watching her stand there in silence made his heart sink. All seemed hopeless and he could feel the emotions beginning to build up inside. As she spoke though, his feelings ceased and a wave of relief washed over him. It wasn't entirely lost. Not yet at least. She was confused as he had already expected. His poor choice in wording certainly made it hard to decipher the meaning behind his words, but he still had a chance to make it right. "Ochako, I," he began, but he found himself pausing to think over his words. How was he supposed to put this? He couldn't say love. That was too strong of a word and he wasn't sure if he could call it that yet. He couldn't always say he wanted to be her boyfriend, but even then that sounded rather awkward. He wanted to at least not sound like a complete idiot while confessing. It was in that moment that he felt his body begin to move by itself. It was almost similar to the times he had rushed to save someone, but instead of someone needing saving, he needed to save this moment, but how?

His body was moving faster than his mind and he moved closer to Ochako. Lifting a hand up, he gently rested it against her cheek before leaning down to plant a gentle kiss on her lips. His mind hadn't fully comprehended what he had done, but as he pulled back, his face flushed and his heart was racing. Had he really just kissed her? "I-I'm so sorry about that!" he stammered, unsure of how she was going to react.
