"You remember Elena? It is her." Lukas sent back. He yawned.

Mariah gasped. The one who her brother dated? The one who’s sister her brother married? “Oh, yeah.” She sent and fell asleep again.

Lukas went to bed and then woke up the next morning and got ready for work. Cass walked to his apartment and jumped onto his back in the hall. Lukas chuckled and carried her.

Elena woke up. She didn’t have class. “I need coffee.” She muttered and got dressed. She saw Lukas in the hall with Cass but payed no attention. She went to run a few errands and then stepped into the cafe

Lukas was making the coffee and Cass was taking the orders. They both were working hard. Cass was clearly not happy to see Elena. "Your girlfriend is here." Cass said to Lukas and traded spots with him. "Hey! What can I get for you?" He asked her.

“Hmm. Caramel Latte to go, extra whipped cream?” She asked him with a smile. She saw someone walk in. “Hello Mariah.” She said coldly, even though the two used to be rather close.

"Of course. This one is on me." He said with a smile. He put it in and then looked over at Cass who was making the wrong drink. "No Cass... It was a caramel latte. Not a peppermint mocha..." He said and walked over and started to fix it. Cass rolled her eyes and walked over. She had been wanting to mess with Elena. She wanted her to get away from Lukas. Lukas worked on making the drink. "How can I help you?" He asked the next person in line.

Elena heard this. She wants to mess with me. At least she doesn’t know I like peppermint mochas as well, Elena though to herself. “Thank you, Lukas.” She said. “See you later!”

"No problem El. I will see you later." He said and watched her go. He looked at the next person in line. "Hello. How may I help you?" He asked. Cass went back to making drinks.

Mariah stepped in line. When it was her turn, she ordered a coffee. “Lukas!” She exclaimed, smiling.
