She looked to her black, shiny, slightly overgrown claws and shuddered. "How terrible." she said, shaking her head. The shepherd looked to Koda, then flicked her tail. Henry finished eating, then looked up to see Mary. He buried the bones in a hurry before going over to her. "You okay?" he asked, nudging her neck. Mary lightly shook her head. "What color are my gums?" she asked, baring her teeth at Henry. Henry looked at them and frowned. "Pale..." he mumbled, "That's not good, right?" Mary relaxed her muzzle, then nodded. "I probably lost a little too much blood." she said, "I'm sure I'll be fine." Henry nodded as he got up to get her a fish.
