Kodas ear turns toward her "hm? Well sure...I have nothing better to do " he murmured as he looked out to the forest..he looked over his shoulder at echos den before leaving.. he sighed softly.

Echo stayed in her den.

[Boomer]

Maria nodded as she walked with him. She was quiet until they left the camp. "Tell me about your family..." she said, glancing to Koda, "I'm sure you've guessed that Mary is my older twin." She wanted to get to know him and Echo better, but seeing that she was more naturally drawn to Koda, she wanted to talk to him first. "Did you ever have a human before coming out here?" she asked, tilting her head a little.

He shakes his head "unless your humans tried to inject strange thing's into you then no, Ive always been a stray " he murmured as he walked along with her "I never wanted a human.."

(Do you have someone who can be with Echo?)

Maria glanced down to her collar for a moment. "I see..." she murmured quietly, "My human wasn't like the one you described. He rescued Mare and I from the pound when we were little." Maria remembered the first day they were brought to the mansion. She wanted to explore everything while Mary hid under the couch all day. Maria flicked her tail as she sighed softly. "I think you would've liked Teddy." she mumbled, more to herself.

He looked at her with his big brown eyes, sorrow for her loss clouding them as he sniffed the air " I would've , trust me, I like everyone that I meet" his tail swayed happily as he padded alongside her.

Echo felt jealousy burn in her stomach and hurt in her heart as she saw Henry..she had liked him from day one and he never ever returned her affections..now that they had pups it made her sadress worse. She turned her back to everyone as she looked at her herbs

[Boomer]

"He was sweet..." she murmured, "He let Henry and Alessa come live with us after they got out of the hospital. Henry broke his leg and kinda fell for Mare." Maria then went quiet; she wasn't supposed to talk about Alessa's accident. It bothered Mary greatly if anyone but Alessa told anyone what had happened. Maria looked at the pale blue sky. "It's a nice day." she commented, "Maybe we can find some berries to bring back home?"

Henry sat at the lake as he waited for the fish to swim by. He was starving, but he wanted to make sure there was enough food before eating. "Maybe I should take the fish to Alessa now..." he thought aloud. He nodded, picked up the fish, then walked back to camp. He entered his family's den and set the fish next to Alessa. He turned to leave as he planned on going back to the lake.

He had spaced out during he story so didn't hear " huh? Oh yeah it's nice..I'm glad we have new pups... no one is actually mates except Mary and Henry..I mean me and echo didn't last long but I don't regret it...seeing her so heartbroken and sad all the time..it makes me feel bad "

Echo sat outside of her den, mentally counting the herbs she had collected..remembering what healing propetries they had.. remembering their smells and the way they look

Maria could tell that he didn't listen, but she chose to not make it a big deal. "I'll be having my pups shortly." she said quietly, "To tell you the truth, I'm glad that we're not in the city right now..." The male that Maria had been with was supposed to be paid or given pick of the litter; Teddy had died before giving the money, so they had been trying to find Maria to take one of the pups.

Henry looked to Echo as she was sorting her herbs. He didn't want to brag about Mary, but she was a good healer as well. He watched her for a moment before going off to the lake. Once he returned, he sat in the water and waited. His stomach growled loudly.

His ears droop "I won't let anyone take your pups. Or you...don't worry " he pressed his nose on her cheek for a moment.. "me and echo tried for pups but..she.." he trailed off " she couldn't have them.." he looked disappointed.

Echo's fur spiked as she felt eyes on her. She knew who...but she also knew they wouldn't talk to her. She lay on top of a little hill that was on top of her stump.

[Boomer]

Maria's ears swiveled as she felt his cold nose on her cheek. "Is she spayed?" asked Maria quietly. She then shook her head. "That's rude of me to ask... I'm sorry." she added. It wasn't any of her business to ask. Maria did understand though; Alessa had been spayed as well. The shepherd felt some pain, but chose to ignore it.

After a little while, Henry came back with five medium sized fish. He set the fish in the kill den, then took one for himself. He laid outside of that den to eat. Mary woke up from her nap. She slowly got up and made her way over to the den. Feeling a bit dizzy, the female sat down. Mary panted slightly as she shut her eyes.
