"Hide..and fight?" She tilted her head.
Echo padded over " sage, play hide and seek. You don have to fight " she muzzled the pup. The pup looked up at her " o-okay mama.." she turned to Alessa "hide and seek sounds okay " she woofs

His ears droop. " i-I thought you knew I ." He sat down " if we don't well be put in the labs and I'm sure that's the last thing you and your pups need " he said more softly " I don't want to see anyone get hurt.."

[Boomer]

"I think one of us counts and the other hides." said Alessa quietly, "But we can't go more than a few feet into the woods. The humans might be around..." Alessa also didn't feel like traveling far to find the pup.

Maria's eyes were filled with sadness as the thought was sinking in. She wouldn't risk her pups' safety. "W-when are we leaving?" she whispered. "After you've been home for a week." said Mary quietly, "I can't risk you popping a stitch or still be too weak to walk." "Fair enough..." mumbled Maria. She curled around her daughters and gingerly cleaned them. The pups were quietly nursing.

"I'll hide!" She barked and soon zipped away. She hides somewhere dark..her paws were padding the ground with excitement.

Echo padded to Henry "managed to calm them down?"

Koda sighed "I think it's for the best that we stay away from humans.. who knows what they would've done to echo and Alessa? Also what if they catch you or your pups " he whimpers

[Boomer]

Alessa didn't get much of a chance to count or shut her eyes. She trotted after Sage. "Well, no one's perfect the first time..." she said softly, trying to find the pup.

Henry looked to the three sleeping pups. "Yeah, it took them a while." he said quietly, "I still think they're hungry. I hope Mare comes back soon."

"They're not all bad, you know..." mumbled Maria, shaking her head lightly. Mary stood up and shook herself, her tags clicking together from her old collar. "I need to get home and feed the pups." said Mary quietly, "I'll see you later." Maria dipped her head as Mary left the room, then left the clinic.

She stayed a's quiet as possible.. she felt her claws dig into the ground. She suddenly started to growl and she pounces out at Alessa, she snarled loudly

Echo sighed softly . " I hope so to.." she murmured softly. *Mary this Mary that...what does he even see in her?* she let's out a huff and she angrily padded away. Trying not to show it

Koda sighed " I'll stay for another while.." he woofs softly as he watched Mary leave.. "it's weird not having you around...I miss you.."

Alessa tracked down the pup's scent, then backed away when she heard the growling. Fearing that she was going to be hurt, Alessa formed a protective orb around herself. She could keep it up for a while.

Henry tilted his head a little as she stormed off. He stayed quiet as he curled around the pups.

Maria huffed quietly as she sat up. "Right..." she muttered. She watched one of the doctors come in and check her IV bag. She stayed perfectly still as he opened the cage to check the catheter in her paw. "No swelling and heat..." he mumbled, "Great." He unhooked the catheter, then petted Maria. "You want something to eat?" he asked. Maria's eyes lit up at the offer of food. The doctor shut the cage door gently, then left the room to get her some food.

Sage kept trying to attack and attack.. echo pulled her off and to a.corner where she told.the pup that it was wrong and to go say sorry. Echo felt like sage was the pup she could never have..

Sage padded over "i-I'm sorry.."

Koda growled a little at her response "if I didn't care about you I wouldn't have come.." he mumbled while looking away. His eyes widen and he starts to look at the human. He backs away

Alessa shut her eyes and cowered in the orb. She shook a bit, even after Sage stopped attacking it. She laid there, clinging onto Scarlett for dear life. Sage's voice was muffled to her. Alessa didn't say anything or move from her spot.

"You sure as hell didn't act like you cared when you'd let me bleed to death." she said lowly, "I didn't ask for you to come here." She narrowed her eyes as the doctor came in with two bowls of food. He set one down for Koda and opened the cage to give Maria her food. The shepherd scarfed down the food while he looked at the pups. "Good weight..." he mumbled, scribbling something down on a chart. He petted Maria just as she finished eating. He noticed a bit of dirt on his hand. "You want a bath?" he asked. "Oh god, yes." said Maria, almost jumping out of the cage. She looked back to make sure the pups were okay.

Koda sniffed the food "I never wanted you to be in the hands of the one thing I will never ever trust." He barked at her. Koda looked annoyed "at least be greatful I want to see you". He never seen this before..it had a weird jelly through meat chunks. He sniffed it again...it smelled good...

Sage paws at the orb gently. Her ears were against her head as she looked at her..waiting..she whimpers

Echo saw Riley come back. He growled at her " don't go near him again." He said angrily "I don't like other males being around you " he put his head on her back and she sighed softly , rubbing her nose on his ear "o-okay" she said

[Boomer]

"Better than dying..." muttered Maria, looking to him. She looked to his food bowl. "It's not drugged, I can promise you." she stated, "If you don't want it, I'll eat it." She allowed a leash to be clipped to her collar and she walked with the doctor. He had shut the cage door to keep the puppies safe.

Alessa kept the orb up, especially when she heard Riley growling. She continued to shake and whimper. Henry came out as he noticed the orb. He walked to Alessa and pawed at it. "Alessa, you can come out now." he said, "You're okay... Mary will be home soon." Alessa let the orb disappear, then winced in pain.
