The pup stumbled around as she attempted to play with a leaf. Her white fluffy fur was flowin with every tiny half hop she made. She squeaked

Echo followed him " do you hate me Henry.. you're always so.awkward with me..plus you avoid me.." her ears go back as she looked at him

Koda looked at her " th-they're beautiful " he panted softly as he rested his head against the cage "how are you feeling " he asked as he avoided eye contact with her

Alessa followed after Sage, making sure any hawks didn't try to steal the pup. She flicked her tail as she watched the pup. She hadn't been around any other pups before, so this was all new to her.

Henry pinned his ears back as he became more flustered. "N-no!" he barked, "I don't hate you... t-the pups are just, overwhelming at the moment. It's hard for me to think." Henry wasn't the brightest bulb in the box; he was rather naiive about certain things.

Maria kept her gaze to her pups as Koda spoke to her. "Fine, considering what happened..." she answered. She had overheard when she was waking up that she had an emergency spay, as she couldn't stop bleeding. Although it was doubtful she'd ever enter a show ring again, Maria was upset that she most likely couldn't show anymore because she was altered. Her career was finished, which was hard for her to process.

Sage looked at Alessa, she bowed down and playfully growled and shakes her head. She wanted to play

Echos ears prick up. She licks his cheek a's she felt her tail wag wildly. Her heart raced " I'm so happy to hear that "

Kodas tail wagged as he looked at the pups. He couldn't take his eyes off of them..he looked as if he was a proud father

Alessa took a step back, thinking the pup was being aggressive. She had no siblings and was kept confined into a stable until it burned down. She just didn't understand that Sage was trying to play and not be mean.

Henry scooted back slightly, then laid down with his pups. Something told him that it didn't feel right for her to lick him. He looked to his pups as they started to squeal. "I-it's okay." he said, trying to quiet them down.

Mary sensed that Maria had been keeping something from them. She looked into her sister's eyes. "Emergency?" she whispered. Maria looked up at her big sister and gave a slight nod. "I'm sorry..." said Mary softly, "But on the bright side, you've been blessed with three beautiful puppies." "You're right." said Maria quietly, "Still, it hurts to think about it." Mary understood Maria's feelings.

Sage playfully leaped toward her "play?" She chirped as she tilted her head

Her heart slowed. " try warming them up a little.. it should help. " Echo looked a little upset.. "you're avoiding me aren't you?" Her ears went back

Koda felt her pain "it's okay. Your pups are what matter. Being a show dog shouldn't " he huffed as he sat up

"O-oh..." said Alessa quietly, "T-that's what you meant. W-what kind of games do you play?" Alessa lowered herself to Sage's level.

Henry curled around the pups and placed his tail over them. "No..." he answered, "I just have to take care of the pups." He hoped Mary would be home soon so they could nurse. The pups were getting cranky.

"Why can't both matter?" quipped Maria, staring at him, "That's my life, that's what their lives will be... if they want it." She cleaned each of her pups' ears. Mary stayed quiet; Maria could handle her own battles.

She blinked " um.." she lay on her stomach and rolled over "i don't know ,I never played with anyone else before"

She sighed " I'll leave you alone.." she murmured sadly as she padded off with her head down

"Your teaching your pups that looks matter. Vanity isn't a good thing" he said back quickly "it's not your life anymore. Your pups are your life you live in the wild , not at a fancy dog kennel like a slave to the humans"

[Boomer]

"W-we're in the same boat, then..." said Alessa softly, "Maybe we can play tag? I've heard of that one. Do you know what it is?" Alessa looked to Echo as she left the den. She wondered what was going on, but it wasn't any of her business.

"It is more than just appearances." she growled, narrowing her eyes, "There's discipline and training, along with an unbreakable bond with your human. I owe everything to Teddy. My fame, my home, my family. I only lived in a kennel when Mare and I were at the pound. Becoming a mother shouldn't mean you have to give up your passion. The only reason why I can't return from my retirement is because Teddy is dead." Maria's anger quickly morphed into sadness as she thought about Teddy. Her bond with Teddy was almost as strong as her bond with Mary.

Echo sat by herself in the camp. Riley had gone to try and fish again .. echo looked at the pups. .

She tilted her head "umm..n-no I only know fight. Fights what I done all my life. I'm a fight pup" she barked " they made me play fight with the bigger dogs "

He rolled his eyes " oh yes sit lie Down roll over. Congradulatuons you win a trophy . You're wild..not domestic were going away anyways so your looks shouldn't matter. I think you look perfect with or without a shiny coat." He blurted out.

[Boomer]

Alessa flicked her tail and frowned some. "I-I don't like fighting." she said quietly, "It hurts..." She sat up slowly, then looked around once more. "M-maybe hide and seek?" she suggested.

"It's more than that!" she growled, "I don't expect you to understand, but at least respect how important it is to me." She then looked to her bare underside. "It'll take months for it to grow back." she winced to herself, "And that's without all of the oils and eggs I need." She turned back to Koda. "What does that mean?" she huffed. "We have to move... the humans caught Alessa and Echo." murmured Mary, "They're safe, but we can't stay there." Maria shook her head. "No, it's hard enough being so far away from Teddy." she said, whimpering a little, "We can't go away." "We have to." said Mary gently.
