Her ears pin down c"I'll get him right away" she sprinted off to go get Henry. She yelled his name before briefly and worriedly explaining the situation at hand. Her heart raced as she leads Henry back toward the shore "i-I'll do the best I can to help you " echo promised . She would hate to have pups and suffer through this..

[Boomer]

Henry and Maria both woke up startled as Echo entered the den. Henry followed behind Echo while Maria slowly left. She couldn't run like they could. The shepherd yawned as she looked over to Koda. She had to admit, he was handsome, but she wasn't quite ready for a mate, especially one that had just left his former mate. Maria watched him for a moment before following Henry and Echo again.

Henry reached his mate's side and nuzzled her cheek. He laid next to her to offer his support and warmth. Mary panted heavily as she laid there, staring up at the sky. Henry looked to Echo. "T-thanks for getting me..." he said, a tad out of breath. Mary nodded to the female wolf-dog before wincing. Henry cleaned her ears as he hoped to distract her from the pain.

She helped out with the birthing.. echo was afraid.. she looked at the pup's " healthy" she breathed out " congratulations.." she said softly as she looked at the new mother. Echo realised now how alone she was...she knew why Koda had left her.. because he liked someone else. Her ears go flat as she wanders away "i-I'll leave you be" she whispered as she went back home.. she avoided eye contact with everyone as she crawled to her den..

Koda noticed Maria leaving. He watched while she left and sighed softly as he returned to chewing on the bone

[Boomer]

Maria had arrived just as the first pup was born. She laid on the other side of her sister and watched. Henry seemed shocked as he watched the scene. Once the last pup came, Mary cleaned him off and set him next to his sisters. "Thank you, Echo..." she murmured. "Y-yeah, thanks!" barked Henry, wagging his tail. Maria rested her head on her paws as she looked to the tiny pups. Mary made sure they were all nursing before she finally relaxed. Maria turned to the water, then got up and got a drink. "Hopefully it'll be that easy for me." she muttered. "I hope so too..." said Mary quietly, looking to her sister.

Koda tries to talk to echo but it doesn't work out.. him and echo get into an argument.. Koda steps closer to echo while growling " get out of my den Koda" she said as calmly as possible " fine." He snarled and walked out , but not before kicking dust in her direction. She snarled and nipped his heels so he would get out faster. Echo lay curled in her den.

Koda came done to the beach shore "we should move her back to the camp. Humans are about...you know what theyll do to us if they can get their paws on us" he growled as he stayed alert for any humans

[Boomer]

Alessa had woken up from the dogs arguing. The timid pup grabbed her toy and shifted to the back of the den. Her bright golden eyes shone in the darkness. Once Koda had left, she wearily moved back to her original spot. Alessa laid down with Scarlett and nuzzled the toy. She didn't understand why they were arguing; all she knew was that she didn't like it.

Maria glanced over to Koda and flicked her tail. She wasn't as afraid of the humans as the others were. Henry looked to Koda, then to his mate and pups. "Can you walk?" he asked her gently. Mary was tired and sore, but she forced herself onto her paws. "I-I believe so..." she whispered. Mary was a bit shaky and Henry let her lean against him. "I'll carry you back." he said, "Maria, can you grab the pups?" "I can walk..." insisted Mary, huffing a little. She hated to be babied in any way. "Fine, walk to Maria in a straight line." said Henry, allowing her to prove herself. Mary flicked her tail as she walked to Maria. She stumbled a little and had to sit down about half way there. Henry strolled to his mate and got her onto his back. Maria walked to the bundle of pups, then gently picked them up by their scruffs.

Koda helped out, he picked up a pup his his gentle jaws and leads the way back to the camp where he had left echo. He glared at the she wolf dogs den as he passed by her small hollow in a tree..

Echo felt really alone..

[Boomer]

Maria flicked her tail as her muzzle had brushed up against Koda's muzzle. He had gotten to the runt before her. Maria carried the other two pups. Henry grunted a little as he carried Mary back to the den. She was still heavy even without the pups. Mary shut her tired brown eyes, then sighed softly. Maria felt her stomach growl, then looked back at the shore. She noticed Alessa's breakfast sitting there. "Uh, Henry..." muttered Maria. Henry looked back to see the fish. "I'll come back for it." he declared. He wanted to get Mary settled in before going back.

Koda felt his fur warm as his muzzle brushed hers he sighs as he placed the pup down next to its mother before turning to leave the den...

Echo fell asleep

Henry and Maria walked into the den, then got everyone comfortable. Mary had fallen asleep during the trip. Henry nuzzled her gently before licking his pups. He left to finish gathering breakfast. Alessa stood up and quietly walked over to Mary and the pups. She sniffed each pup before laying down. The pup was gentle with her new "siblings" as she gingerly cleaned their ears. The pups slept peacefully. Maria watched Koda leave the den before following after him. "Hey!" she called, but not shouting, "Do you... maybe wanna go on a walk? I'm feeling a bit restless."
