The Fall of Seven

Dionysus sneered at him, taking in his figure "My, I didn't know Hades had kids that knew something rather than to hide in the dark, like he did." He laughed as he shook his head "Why would we even do that? Do you know how risky it is to be saying such things? You're not even fit for a quest. If anyone were to do this it would be that Perry Jensen." He said, shaking his head as he waved his hand to dismiss Jax "No Jack, you better just stay put and be a good little boy."

Jax rolled his eyes as he watched the god drink his wine. "Dionysus, I mean not to offend you, but don't you realize how important this is? The dragon broke the barrier! I demand that at least someone gets a quest!" Jax watched the god intently. "Please." he added, though it was an empty word- he didn't mean it. It wouldn't help with anything.

He pointed at the door "Get out. I've had enough of your nomsense yip yap. One quest is enough and that's final. You should go attend to whatever camp schedule you have today rather than to waste my precious time here." He said, shaking his head as he sat back down on his chair to read his book "Have a good day, John."

Jax turned, secretly rolling his eyes as he exited the Big House. "'Continue your camp activities'. Ha! As if i'm gonna have a normal day after that dragon?" Jax shook his head in disbelief. He headed towards his cabin. "What now?" He muttered to himself. He had eaten lunch. It wasn't like he was planning for the Chariot Races or anything. Jax found his gaze lingering on cabin number seven. *Stop it.* He thought to himself. He continued heading to cabin thirteen.

Adeline sighed as she looked up at the golden ceiling. Now when the sun is at it's highest, their cabin glowed a golden color and it was almost impossible to look at. She sat up and headed towards the front porch to get a watering can, pausing for awhile to see that most of the campers were now actively resuming about their day as if nothing had happened before. Though, some like Adeline still had depressed looks on their faces, not having any will to do anything.

She shook her head and she sighed, turning to the windowsill and watering the cheerful yellow blossoms that came from the island of Delos. This was Serena's job until now.

Jax had been about to enter the cabin when he noticed Adeline exiting. "Hey." He said, walking towards cabin seven. "How you holding up?" Jax leaned on the porch railing, looking over at Adeline. (Cause he somehow just got all the way there in a few seconds..?) Jax hoped Adeline was doing okay. Serena's sudden death had really taken to everyone- but Adeline hadn't even stepped out of the cabin yet today, and it was after lunch.

"Oh, hey." She said, recognizing Jax "I'm... okay, I guess. Just doing something to busy myself even if I know it's useless..." she mumbled the last part. Letting out a heavy sigh she continued to water the remaining plants "What brings you here today? Aren't you busy?" she asked, looking back at him.

Jax shook his head. "After last night, I don't think i'm gonna have a busy day in a while..." Letting out a sigh, Jax tried to force a smile. But there was nothing to say, so the grin faded almost instantly. "I just, saw you out here and... Thought I should say hi. You haven't been out today- at least, not that anyone knows of..." He said. Then, after an awkward pause, "I asked Dionysus for a quest, but he declined." Jax sighed once again.

Finally, a small smile crept up her lips. It wasn't a grin but it was still the most she could muster "Thank you, I appreciate your concern." When she heard about the boy's request, she tilted her head "A quest, for what? We already have one that's ongoing right now. He must've thought that one too many would probably not be necessary seeing as one group is already out there."

Jax shrugged. "They're only checking out the lake to find out more about the dragon." He said. "I wanted to figure out how it got through the barrier, but apparently Dionysus doesn't think that's important." Jax let out an annoyed sigh. "The barrier could fall again." He muttered. "But nobody cares."
