So we all know that supposedly, the chosen 7 defeated Kronos which made it possible to defeat beautiful mother nature.

But what if that never happened?

What if Kronos never died and Gaea is still very much alive?

I'm not sure but it sounds like doomsday is coming.

Jax was falling. Falling, into the dark oblivion. The void. The vortex. The ocean of deep, terrible possibilities of a dream. He was sinking in the depths of the dark water. The sun was a far-off light he could not reach out to. He couldn't swim upwards, he couldn't breath. The water darkened. The sun blinked out of view.


Jax woke sweating, his breath coming in gasps. He was in his bed in the Hades cabin. He was shivering- though it was warm in the cabin. Jax pulled the covers up to his chin and glanced around. His cabin-mates sound asleep. He wanted to know the time. But his phone was dead. He sighed and looked around for a clock. You would know if there were a clock in here. Jax thought to himself. He settled into the bed, glancing around warily. He was still shaken by the dream, but soon, he fell asleep.

Jax was in bed. He opened his eyes. A figure was in the doorway. He recognized it instantly. This is a dream- he promised himself. This isn't possible, this is a dream... He closed his eyes tight. When he opened them, the it was gone. Another dream. Twice in the same night- though how far apart he didn't know. His cabin-mates were beginning to stir, though not fully awake, unlike Jax. He wanted to get up. But it was too early. The Harpies would surely go after him... Right? He didn't want to take his chances, so he settled in bed, waiting for the time when others would awaken.

Adeline woke up to the sound of someone snoring. A groan left her lips as she turned around to see one of her fellow cabinmates with his mouth wide open, snoring. She rolled her eyes as she huffed a breath, watching the slow rise of the sun, it's rays filling up Apollo's cabin with golden light. She yawned as she sat up, always being the first to rise and the last to fall asleep. Eventually, her cabinmates came to be, stirring awake and yawning, stretching, exchanging their morning greetings.

Adeline began to tidy up her bunk bed, folding her blankets and puffing out her pillows before going to grab a towel and a set of clothes that consisted her camp shirt and her favorite shorts. Today was going to be a sunny day, she could tell. Humming to herself, she took her bath quickly, managing to avoid the long line of people wanting to take a bath.

After what seemed like a long wait, the head of the Apollo cabin, Michael Yew had everyone neatly go out towards the mess hall for breakfast.

Jax was sitting in the mess hall pavilion. He wore his orange camp shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans over his light- yet tan form. His brown hair was combed, though it spiked upwards as if he hadn't worked on it at all. He chuckled at his imperfectness as he took a first bite of his eggs. Jax looked around with his green eyes. He didn't see anyone to talk to, though it wasn't like he could stand up from the Hades table. Jax sipped water, glancing around. His eyes hesitated as they passed over Adeline's form. He shrugged it off, acting as if it were a simple pause meaning nothing. I don't have a crush, and I never will. He thought to himself. Though one thought kept crossing his mind. It began with What if... But it always cut off there. He never knew how it would end. Like a book, but a third of the pages are ripped from the spine, leaving you clueless and questioning.

Jax had finished breakfast and was waiting for the rest of the camp to exit the pavilion. He thought about scaling the rock wall... No, I need to train with a sword. He thought to himself. Then- No, I should... He chuckled to himself. He couldn't even decide what to do after breakfast. I'll sword train. he decided. Then, after a few seconds, With the dummies... And earbuds. He smiled to himself. He liked music. He spent the rest of breakfast thinking about songs.

Adeline thought she sensed someone looking at her and saw that nobody was. She shrugged it off and shook her head, thinking it was just her imagination. She sat down at the table for cabin 7 and immediately, the bickering over who gets to have the first serving of bacon began. An amused smile played on her lips as she watched them, settling for some bread and peanut butter for now.

"You should put jam on tha-"

"No."

Adeline glared at Serena, her best friend, who was trying to sneakily put some strawberry jam on her toast.

"But why? Everyone loves peanut butter and jam."

"I hate jam."

"What are you even?" Serena huffed, defeated as she watched Adeline happily eating her peanut butter sandwich.

After awhile, Adeline looked up at Serena "Would you care to shoot a few rounds at the range today?"

"Eurgh, archery again? But we did that yesterday already." Serena complained "I want to go to the lake and go canoeing."

"No, let's do archery, please?" Adeline said, batting her eyes at her friend, pouting.

"Ugh fine but after that, we'll do what I want, alright?"

Adeline gave her a nod and returned to eating, a triumphant smile on her lips as she listened to Serena's mumblings about how "unfair Addie is" or how "archery sucks" which was funny since she's a few of Apollo's children who hated archery.

Jax perked up as they were excused for camp activities. He instantly headed towards the sword arena. But instead of fighting dummies, he decided he would do some real combat training. Jax unsheathed his favorite sword and picked out a light-weight shield to practice with. He headed out towards the field. A few campers were milling around, waiting for a turn, but most were training. Jax raised his sword, and was soon training along with the others.

Jax had been sword-fighting for about half an hour, and decided to go take a walk by the lake. He set down his weapon and shield, and began walking towards the lake. He, strangely enough, liked the water. He drank in the fresh air, and stood, watching the water pass by without a care in the world. He had forgotten about his dreams that morning- it would be a good day. Jax continued walking around the lake.

Adeline was already on her fifth dozen set of arrows when Serena had dragged her away. The auburn haired girl was pouting, begging Serena to have her last batch of arrows when the blonde shook her head, trying to take away the arrows that Adeline had held.

"No no no, it's time to hit canoeing with Serena!"

A defeated sigh left Adeline's lips as she wiped the sweat from her forehead and went off to trudge sadly behind Serena. Soon enough the lake came to view and Serena hurriedly went to the canoes, joining several other campers who were getting on one. As Adeline came closer, a frown crossed her eyebrows "Umm, there's no more space for me...?" she said to Serena, confused.

The blonde gave her a toothy grin and waved "I'll see you later!"

Dumbfounded, Adeline stared at her friend who drifted further from her until the figure of the canoe was no longer in sight.

So this had been her plan all along, to drag Adeline here and leave her be. A huff left Adeline's lips as she sat down near the waters, staring, waiting for her friend to come back.

Jax was making his last turn when he nearly passed up Adeline, sitting be the lake. He instantly stopped. "What are you doing here?" He asked, confused. "No offense, just- aren't you usually at the shooting range?" Jax stood, looking down at Adeline. He wondered what she would be doing here... He didn't think Adeline liked canoeing that much, so unless she was here to run -which he doubted as she was not even standing up- then there was no reason for her to be here. Jax bent down next to her.

She nearly jumped when she heard the voice, an unfamiliar one at that. She looked up only to see someone, a fellow camper and immediately relaxed "My friend left me here." she said, as if it was a normal thing "I'm just waiting for her to come bac- Wait, how do you know that I'm always at the shooting range?" she asked, frowning as she tilted her head "I'm not sure if I've ever seen you there before."

Jax shrugged. "Well, for starters, your from Apollo cabin. And I pass by the shooting range around the time people start arriving there and I just happened to notice that your usually there." He said. "What, did you think I was a stalker?" He added with a laugh. He rolled his eyes, amused.
