indent Kevin was hesitant to answer, looking down at his feet. Heaven was his home. He grew up being an angel. Being surrounded by the safety of the nicest place most people want to go to when they die. He did want to go back, but not so soon. Kevin felt as if there was something he was missing on this earth adventure. Maybe he could convince Heavenly father to let him stay a little longer. That'd probably be pushing it, seeing how he'd been down on earth for two months or so. It probably wasn't much to prove just maybe he could stay, but guiding these people on earth to a brighter future? He'd been doing that much ever since he arrived and sensed the negativity in the people around him.

indent "I mean.. We wouldn't have to leave right now, would we?" Looking back at Connor, he tilted his head slightly. "I do want to go back to Heaven but.." His voice trailed off into a quiet mumble, a sigh following after. "I don't want to leave yet.."

Connor frowned slightly, waiting for Kevin to answer. As he did get his answer, he quickly realised that it was likely that Kevin had grown fond of Earth, though he couldn't figure out why. He wasn't sure if he could push things - he didn't need a fight on his hands. But he also didn't want to take too long. Perhaps, he supposed, he could allow for things to take a bit more time, though. Patience, he reminded himself, was key.

Eventually, Connor nodded slightly in reluctant agreement. "Not yet, I... suppose..." he said, quietly. He decided to take up on the offer to sit down, and he perched on the edge of the couch, somewhat tentatively. He watched Kevin, carefully, then he spoke again, "You really like it here, don't you?" he asked, gently. He couldn't see the appeal - then again, he'd only been here for a very short time, but he ignored that fact - but the reluctance from Kevin was clear. He also suspected that he had also been stalling, when inviting him into the house and such.

indent "Well, there's something about this place that's just.. Incredible." Kevin swung his legs lightly, smiling a little bit. He did have his reasons for liking a place others said was scary. "The people I've met, the things I've seen and experienced.. It's so nice- I've learned things more than books have taught me." Though, he didn't smile for long. He looked over to Connor, shrugging. There was a lot on his mind. He wanted to go on and on, but there wasn't much time for him to talk. He did want to stall more, of course, but he assumed Connor was already catching onto his stalling. So he decided to keep talking to a minimum.

indent "Sure, there's fighting and negativity all around and those who have sinned- It's alarming, but I like to believe that there's something we can do to change that-!" He sighed, clasping his hands together on his lap. Kevin knew there was more bad things than just that but he mostly wanted to sugarcoat it. Doing so made him less nervous about being there, on earth. "I've guided a few negative people, which I think is an accomplishment! I bet Heavenly father is going to appreciate it."

He tilted his head to one side, as he listened to Kevin talk. He couldn't help but think that the fallen angel looked so radiant when he smiled, even if it was only a little bit. He tried not to be too disappointed when the smile faded - at least, he certainly tried not to let it show on his expression - and he returned his focus to the task at hand. For all of his apprehensions and concerns, Connor really was quite curious and willing to learn about Earth. He wanted to ask more questions, to find out even more, but then he was concerned that it was detract from what his focus should be.

Connor was quite surprised - though, then again, perhaps it shouldn't have been a surprise - to hear that Kevin had managed to guide a few people the right way. "...I'm sure he will, that's..." he hesitated. Perhaps there was a benefit to being on Earth, and he was glad that Kevin had not bypassed mentioning some of the negative points. "...That's wonderful, Kevin. If..." he paused again, as he started to draw together an idea, for he knew that Kevin probably wanted to stay on Earth, "...if we return to Heaven, perhaps we could tell Heavenly Father about it? Perhaps he'd allow you to stay a little longer? If that's what you wanted, I mean..."

indent "Maybe.. But I've already been gone for two months.. You really think he'll agree to me coming back for a little longer-?" Kevin's eyes looked hopeful. He really liked earth. He even wanted to have a partner with him, if he could. It did get lonely there. He thought it would have been nice to be there by himself for a change but it didn't seem to suffice. "That would be nice.. There's so much an angel or two can do to help earth. If we could convince Heavenly father, that'd be a blessing-!"

indent He didn't think he'd mention the lonely part about being there. It wasn't too important to him. Kevin didn't want to make it seem like he had a bad time there; because he didn't! All-in-all in was great. Besides that one little bothersome thing. May he'd bring it up at a later date, if he found the need to do so.

"Well..." Connor trailed off, because he really wasn't sure what the answer would be. Heavenly Father could be quite unpredictable, and it wouldn't be right to be certain of his answer. He decided to try and remain somewhat optimistic, for Kevin's benefit, though. "Honestly, I'm not sure. I'd like to think that he maybe would, especially if you show him proof of what you've done," he then hesitated. He knew that he probably shouldn't be encouraging this in the slightest, but he liked seeing Kevin so hopeful.

Connor stood up, and brushed off invisible dust from himself. "There is only one way to find out, though..." he added. He knew that he probably should have been focusing solely on his task, but he did want to try and come up with some compromises that would make everyone - or as many people as possible - happy. And even if Kevin was told 'no', then maybe it would be for the best. After all, he couldn't imagine being in a new place completely alone.

indent Kevin inhaled slightly, watching Connor stand up. He was still hesitating about leaving. He wasn't confident that he could convince Heavenly Father there was more to earth than dangers. The hope in his eyes faded only slightly, but it was still there. He wasn't going to give up hope completely, not yet. The encouragement Connor was giving him definitely helped him decide what to do next.

indent Looking down at his clothing, Kevin noticed it sure wasn't all that presentable. A casual pair of soft grey sweat pants, a short-sleeved t-shirt and a very light maroon hoodie. It was the casual clothing he chose to use there on earth; to blend in more when he wasn't preaching and such. He also found the outfit very comfortable. Though, Kevin didn't think it would really sell with the Lord. "Uh.." Kevin's expression was a bit nervous. He was debating whether he should go up and change or not. He was really leaning toward doing so. "I feel like I should change into something more formal if we're leaving.." He chuckled nervously, hopping up to his feet, bouncing slightly on his heels, "It would be a good idea, I think."
