He peered around the corner to see if she arrived yet. No sign of her. He paced a bit, wondering when she would show. He was stupid, so stupid, not thinking to bring a watch with him, for he believed that he needn't bring one. He thought that it wouldn't take much time at all, but he knew she might not be there on time. She had other more important things to think about than him. He was being selfish when he thought that he was probably all she thought about, all day every single little second of the day like a sterotypical girl. He then sighed, and shook his head. "Stupid, she isn't like that." He thought of her though. Oh yes he thought of her all the time. He thought about her when he woke up, he thought of her when he ate breakfast, he thought of her on his morning walk. Why, he even thought of her when he was in the restroom sometimes! (Not that thats weird. Oh and no he isn't dirty like that you bunch of wacks!) He loved her, more than anything else in the entire world. He sighed again and thought, "How could someone as great as her ever love someone like me? (Oh I'm sad now) Yes, an idiot he was indeed.

She pulled up in her car, tired. It was late, and she had a long work day. She stepped out of her car with her keys and phone and she walked up to the worried boy. "You okay? How come you need me... so late?" She had yawned when speaking. They had been friends for years, and she loved him, but she wasn't sure why he wanted her to go somewhere so dark and empty. They were in an alley way and she could hear cars driving on one side, and people fighting on the other. She was used to the community, but she didn't know why he truly wanted her there. "Is something wrong?" She looked to his face expression, and her eyes widened. "Wait, did your dog die?! Henry! Why didn't you tell me sooner!?" She was guessing, sense he'd never been so worried about something accept when he had to tell her that his dog had died a few years back. She wrapped her arms around him and pulled him close into a warm hug, hoping it would make him feel a little better. "I'm sorry..."

When she had pulled up, he was sitting down in the alley thinking that she wouldn't show up after all. When she did, he quickly sat up, then thnikning twice, stood up and rushed over to her. She was mumbling something when suddenly she asks if his dog died. " WhAT, nO.." Then she embraced him in a tight but warm and comforting hug. He nearly jerked back, for he wasn't used to this kind of affection, but he just settled into the hug surprised. He then felt a feeling of being... well, safe. He had mixed emotions cuz he still wasn't sure if he loved her or was getting it mixed up with some other idiotic stuff. He pulled away, even though he didn't want to. " Um, Dawn thats not why I called you here, I wanted to show you something important. I.. uh... It's pretty weird let's just say."

[Trots]

“Weird? What do you mean by weird?” She raised an eyebrow, tilting her head. “Explain please... you know I’m not completely done of surprises...” (Sorry it’s short. I’m at the doctors)

"um, well...." Henry gathered his wits, and then he shot a blue flame at the wall of the alleyway. He didn't really want to see Dawn's reaction, so he turned away and squatted down where he was standing. She might be appalled, she might absolutely love it. She might never speak to him again. He didn't care, he just wanted to let her know that he was different. That he wasn't normal.

[Trots]

“What in the world.... H-how did you do that..?” She stuttered barely, shocked. She knew he was different, but she never considered him to be... different. “You have powers?!” She tilted her head, looking down at him. She pulled him up by the collar of his shirt so he would look at her. “C’mon, spit it out...” She sighed lightly, looking st his face expression. He had more to say, but at this point, she wasn’t sure if this was a dream or reality.

He whimpered, then he stuttered,"I don't know how or why this is happening but, I do know that I can control pretty well." He lit another flame this time, but it was red. He lifted his hand up in the air and then let go and the red flame hung there. Then it slowly glowed orange then yellow then back to orange. Until It turned into an amber color and stayed that way. He stared at it then he looked over at Dawn, wondering how she would react. He saw that she was open-mouthed in awe.
