She frowned and looked down. “Oh.” She sighed and looked down, shaking her head.

The next day, I thought about what Dawn had said. Maybe I didn't have to be a villain. The only reason I really was one was because I had nothing better to do. I had killed my Father, and after that I had no parents, so since I was skilled at killing, had powers, and didn't have any friends or family members, robbing places seemed like the only rational thing to do. What if I became a hero, for Dawn? Or what if both of us stopped being heroes or villains and lived our lives like normal humans, loving each other and only using our powers when we desperately needed to in secret? Even if I stopped being a villain and Dawn was still a hero would be fine. I decided to tell her. I called her on my phone. She picked up halfway through the third ring.

"Yes?" I tilted my head, pausing the movie I had began to watch.

"Hey, Dawn. What if I became a hero?"

“You’re absolutely sure?” I was a bit confused, but I hoped this news was true.

"Yes. I'm done fighting back and forth. We can be together if we hide our powers!"

[Trots]

"Oh-okay! That sounds fine. We can do anything you want."
