Personality: Timid, meek, not at all brave. Alessa tends to keep quiet most of the time, unless she is around someone she trusts. When she can open up to someone, she is sweet and loyal to them for life. It doesn't take much to gain Alessa's trust... most of the time.
Appearance: A small white Poochyena that lacks the face mask, paw markings, and snaggle teeth. She has pure yellow eyes, floppy ears, a pointed tail, and dark brown hair that is past her shoulders. She wears a purple protective vest, modeled to look like a dress, to keep her internal organs safe. This vest was specially made for her by a friend of Boomer's.
History: The little Poochyena lived within her mother's pack. She wasn't a totally normal Poochyena, as she somehow was born with the gift of Telekinesis. It is believed her mother and her father must have possessed special powers, as her mother was born with Fire Fang. When Alessa was beginning to learn and understand her power, her mother attacked her. The pup was burned from her mother's Fire Fang attacks. She was dumped at the edge of the forest to die all alone. A rather chubby Bulbasaur had found her and brought her back to his home. He nursed her back to health and the two have become friends.

Personality: Funny, charming, and loves to talk. Boomer loves food and discovering new things to try. He is very easy going and accepts just about anyone. He loves to help others in any way he can.
Appearance: An average colored Bulbasaur; he is a bit chubby and tends to waddle rather than walk. He has a purple bandanna around his neck.
History: Boomer lived a normal life until he decided to leave home. He had traveled around for a while and was about to return to Treasure Town until he had found Alessa. He brought her back to his cliff side home and nursed her back to health. Once she was strong enough and he knew she would survive, he asked her to join his expedition team. Alessa accepted, although she didn't really know what they would be doing.

Personality: Polite, considerate, modest, warm, Asa is a little gentleman. He’s peaceful and doesn’t like to battle, preferring to stop fights with words. He’s very gentle and kind, and gets along well with baby Pokémon.
Appearance: Shiny* Asa is a small shiny Litleo, with a pale creamy white coat. An orange tuft of fur sticks up on his head, and he has soft grey eyes. He looks mild mannered, and he is, and a Silk Scarf tied in a bow around his neck.
History: Comes from a large family of Pyroars and Litleos that live in a burned down forest at the base of some huge temperate mountains. Because he is shiny and a male, he’s a very special child to them. His birth made his older sister jealous, as she was next in line to be head of the pride.

Alessa woke up to the sun peaking into the seaside cliff den. She opened her golden eyes and yawned, then slowly stood up. She nuzzled her toy before going over to Boomer's moss bed. The Bulbasaur was snoring softly as he laid on his underside. Alessa pawed at his bulb. "Morning Boomer..." she whispered. The Bulbasaur opened his eyes and yawned loudly, then used his vines to rub his eyes. "Mornin' Alessa..." mumbled Boomer, glancing over to her, "You ready to go into town?" Alessa nodded as Boomer stood up and walked towards the stairs. "Maybe there'll be some Rawst Berries at the Kecleon brothers' shop." he said. "I hope so..." she replied, going to her bed to fetch Scarlett. The Poochyena pup never left with her toy. The two left the den, then strolled into town.

As sun rose over town, a small Litleo turned over in bed. He had gotten to town late the night before and had enough money with him to stay at the inn. It was the first time he had slept good in a while. Running from your family tended to give you insomnia. Yawning widely he ran a paw through the white and orange fur on his head. Asa would have liked to sleep some more, but if he wanted to get Deciding to go ahead and head out he crawled out of bed and tied his scarf around his neck. He also grabbed his bag, and made sure it was secure over his shoulder. Wandering downstairs, the friendly innkeeper gave him a smile. "Good mornin’, boy! 'Ya sleep well?" A smile appeared on Asa’s face, the first one in a while. “I did! Thank you for asking.” The Bibarel pointed towards a larger table in the room to the side. It was covered in a spread of breakfast items, and a few of the inn’s other guests were grabbing something to eat. “I’ve got breakfast over there if ya wanna get a bite to eat before ya head out?” The Shiny Pokémon nodded his head. “Thank you very much!” Grabbing a doughnut and a oran berry before heading outside, he stuck the berry in his bag and munched on the doughnut.

He needed to stop by the Keckleon’s shop before heading to the guild. A part of him said he needed to travel further before joining a guild, but something about this town made him feel welcome. Setting off down the road, his tail wagged behind him.

[Boomer]

The two Pokemon stopped at the shop to buy a few berries, among other supplies. They walked a little ways down the road before sitting down to eat. Alessa bit into one of her Rawst berries as Boomer ate a grass gummy. "I was thinking..." said Boomer with a mouthful of gummy, "Maybe we can look for a simple job for today?" Alessa nodded as she finished off the first Rawst berry. "Plus it'll help with your training." he added. "Right..." murmured Alessa, shifting her glance to the side.

As Asa headed towards the shop, he saw two Pokémon sitting in the grass eating breakfast. While he knew which way he was heading for the Keckleon’s shop, he realized he didn’t really know where the guild was. Looking over at the little Poochyena and a jolly looking Bulbasaur, he decided that they looked friendly enough. Approaching the duo the Litleo called out, “Hello!” Stopping a few feet from them he asked politely, “My name’s Asa, would either of you know the way to the guild?”

[Boomer]

Alessa saw the Litleo and rushed to hide behind Boomer. Although she wasn't attacked by a fire type, she was still afraid of fire in general. Boomer smiled to Asa and waved with one of his vines. "Oh hi." he said, "Oh, don't mind Alessa... she's just shy." Alessa quivered a bit as she laid down. "I'm Boomer and that's Alessa." continued Boomer, "We were actually going to the guild. Do you want to just walk with us?"

When Alessa ran and hid behind Boomer, Asa jumped back a little. He was startled by the sudden movement, and waved back with a paw. Smiling at the team saying, “It’s nice to meet you, Boomer. And you too Alessa.” At the Bulbasaur’s offer the shiny Pokémon smiled even bigger. “Oh, that would be great! Thank you so much.” He continued to talk, rambling a bit. “I’m new to this town, and I’ve been looking to join an exploration team. I’m not much of a battler though. Have you two lived here long?” He didn’t mean to be nosey or anything of the sort, just wanting to know if they knew the area well.

[Boomer]

Boomer dipped his head and stood up. "We've lived here for a while." he said, "Alessa has stayed with me for a couple months or so." He began to lead Asa towards the guild. Alessa got up and followed after them. "I'm the leader of an expedition team, Team Kangaroo." said Boomer happily, "Do you maybe want to join?" Alessa glanced to Boomer, a bit uncertain of this idea.
