personality || bonfire is an independent cat ,, not really needing anyone else ,, though she doesn't mind a little bit of company. she likes to go off and do things on her own. bonfire isn't scared to voice her thoughts and opinions. she doesn't care if she offends others ,, or at least in the moment she doesn't care about offending other cats ,, just as long as it gets some to see things her way. she might even be bold enough to go up against a clan cat. bonfire can be very one sided with her opinions. she usually sticks to her guns and won't back down from her beliefs. this makes her very opinionated and it can be quite tough to make her see things differently. bonfire likes to think that she is a natural leader ,, and in some ways she is ,, but she can think too highly of herself at times. she isn't completely arrogant and self loving ,, but she can be a bit selfish and self centered at times ,, not taking into consideration of what others want or think. if one offends her or goes against what she believes then bonfire will not back down from a fight ,, be it verbal or physical ,, she will stand her ground. so at times she can be a hot head. but all in all bonfire is a loyal cat who will die for the ones she loves.

ｏｔｈｅｒhistory || bonfire was born to two loners. after kitting her mother ,, shadow ,, passed away. that left bonfire and ashes ,, her older brother ,, with a broken hearted cat. smoky ,, her father ,, at first made it his duty to keep his two kits safe. but there was always something off with him after the death of shadow. he could grow angry ,, sad ,, depressed even. he would stare blankly at the sky. but nonetheless he protected and cared for his kits. due to ashes and bonfire being born in new leaf smoky had everything perfectly set up to start training his two kittens from the moment that they could walk. alongside her brother bonfire slowly began to learn how to hunt ,, starting with just basics such as keeping silent ,, staying downwind ,, ect. she and ashes got the hang of hunting very easily.
but soon after learning how to hunt her father changed. as leaf bare drew closer smoky forced his two kits away. he became territorial ,, claiming that the land they stood on was his. that the prey there could only feed him and him alone. both ashes and bonfire tried to fight back ,, saying that they were his blood ,, that he can't just drive them away. in his depressed and angered state smoky lashed out. he jumped at his two kits ,, claws outstretched and teeth bared. he landed on ashes. the two cats fought ,, rolling around in the snow. smoky was bigger and stronger than ashes at the time ,, so smoky had ashes pinned underneath him with claws digging into ashes. terrified for her brothers life. bonfire charged at her father ,, knocking him off balance. surprised by the hit smoky lashed out with his front claws ,, raking bonfires side. smoky jumped to his feet growling that they should leave. glancing back at her brother bonfire thought that he was dead. he wasn't moving. her fathers stepped closer to her. scared bonfire fled into the forest. since then bonfire has lived alone. she learned that the only way to survive is to be on her own.
