Neil was currently working at the Science camp's little stand. The "stand", if he would even call it that, had
wooden tools instead of metal. He had brought some old computers with him from home to work on at the
camp though it proved to be a it challenging. Working with such minimal tools was difficult at first, but he
managed to just deal with it. Even if he sometimes has to use industrial glue to repair the tools, how ironic.
Other than that, though, he was currently piecing together metal bits for his newest creation. He was going
to create an AI system.

...Well, Neil would be working on the system if it weren't for a familiar brunette in a fancy vest bothering him.
Chattering on about who knows what. He was ready to just walk away, or at least shout at the other to leave.

⭐ Harrison || Tags ;; Neil

indent Naturally, Harrison would have been off showing some new tricks to the campers, 'campers' meaning Nikki, but instead he found himself leaning on his elbows, which were on the wooden top of the Science camp booth watching whatever Neil had been doing. It wasn't just pure silence, though. Harrison was trying to converse with the science camper, which was rare, but seeing as Neil was the only other person he seemed to be interested in at the moment, he thought he'd try his hand at having a conversation. It had to be easy, right? Just like magic!

indent "So, ultimately, I used my time to learn something new instead of just card tricks and explosions for my camp day this week-" Holding up his hand, Harrison grinned, mumbling something under his breath and making a small spark fly from his index finger. "Cool right?" Harrison didn't think that measly little spark could be dangerous, but it probably was, and he was just too engrossed to notice what it could potentially do. He'd probably learn that soon enough, whether it be something exploding or Neil yelling at him. Or both, really.

"Uh-huh, sure." Neil mumbled under his breath, grabbing for another tool to fit more scraps into place.
He saw something shining out of the corner of his eye, but figured it was just the sun reflecting off of
something. He whispered nonsense as the pieces wouldn't fit together as easily as he thought. Neil
looked around on the stand, and underneath, then back up at Harrison. Might as well listen to what he
has to say.

indent "I'm hoping to perfect it.." Voice trailing off, thinking he probably did enough talking that explained his plans for his camp's day, Harrison gave a glance at what Neil was working on. He seemed genuinely interested. Enough to make it believable, anyway. He wasn't naturally invested in Science camp perse, but it wouldn't hurt to be curious. Maybe he'd find something interesting in what Neil was doing. Unlikely, but he did enough talking. He expected Neil to probably have no attentiveness toward him. It was a constant between the two; Their inquisitiveness didn't spark when it came to the other's interest. Not really thinking how it would sound, Harrison spoke, "So.. What're you doing?"

Well that was a little unexpected. But, nonetheless, Neil responded, "I'm working on a computer. It's
nothing special, really." He mumbled, but continued despite of what he said. "An AI, more specifically.
It's taking longer than usual to make." Neil concluded, doing a quick glance around the stand and then
picked up what he had so far. The project looked like it was turning out to look like a sphere, with wires
and more bits of metal inside. Something was glowing inside, but that part wasn't really important, yet.

indent "Didn't the last AI try to take over the whole camp-?" Harrison chuckled a bit, a grin forming at the corners of his mouth. He was finally poking fun, as he usually would. It wasn't any surprise. "It looks more like a ball than a computer." Harrison pointed out, tilting his head marginally, "Why's it glowing? Wouldn't powering it come after you got it finished?" He didn't know much about programming himself but again, he was mostly starting to flout. Crossing his arms, a grin lingered on his face. "Could be more pleasing to the eye in my opinion."

"Wow, Harrison, I didn't know you knew so much about computers," Neil smirked back, "why
don't you try build it?" He raised the question with a slighty teasing tone in his voice. "To answer
your questions though..." He held the ball up a little higher, "Yes, it did. This time I'm going to make
sure that doesn't happen again." Neil looked back at Harrison. "The ball is the AI. It's the program,
and will help power the computer as well." He pointed inside, "The glow..." He trailed off. Huh, why
was it glowing? "It's a work in progress." Neil responded quickly.

"It'll be more pleasing when it's finished, Harrison. Have some patience, jeez." He teased the other
while rummaging around in the sphere, moving wires and whatnot around to try and tone down the glowing.

indent "I probably could build it with magic!" His tone of voice sounded almost triumphant, placing his hands on his hips, a cheeky demeanour to his stance. Huffing, Harrison raised a brow insignificantly, watching Neil tinker with the sphere for a moment before turning his gaze back to look at him. "I can see it's a work in progress." He countered, "You'd think after the first AI, you'd know what to do. It looks like you're having trouble there, Neil. You don't need help do you?" Harrison laughed a bit, an amusing tone to his speech. "I can offer magic." moving his hands from his hips, he made joking hand motions of 'magic' with his fingers, his lips beaming with a smirk. Harrison knew his offer would be rejected, since most of his tricks were a fraud to Neil, but even so, he still offered, jokingly, however it was still something.

indent "Maybe something from my enchanted hat could help." Slipping his hat from his head, Harrison reached into it. Digging around for a second, the brunette proceeded to pull something from his hat. A tool. It wasn't the right tool for anything Neil was working on, but it was still a tool. "Need a tape measure? Ooor.." Going back to searching the hat, he pulled out another tool. Probably more useful this time. Key word 'probably'. "Needle-nose pliers? More practical than a tape measure." Harrison shrugged, placing the hat back on his head and setting the pliers down on the wood surface of the stand. "Magic could be useful. You never really know when it comes to illusions and witchcraft."
