Alexander nodded "whatever you wish princess " he kissed her forehead as a maid walked by. She almost walked into a wall. He snorted as he tried to hold back his laughter. " okay this is gonna be fun"

he laughed a little then groaned in pain "I accept then too" he said and struggled to keep on his feet as she helped him "at least this is your own choice and I am not forcing you to go out with me more than once" he made sure she knew. He peeled off his coat and took off his nightshirt looking at the deep wound "didn't feel this bad before..." he moaned

her cheeks burned bright red "i-its a little too soon for that don't you think" she said looking away trying to ignore the heat where his lips had been. she didn't understand how he was able to make her feel so strange so easily it bugged her but part of her didn't mind it.

She sighed " it looks deep.. i- the doctor should be up right away " she looked away from him , respecting his privacy and she wanted to ignore the fact that she thought he was quite fit.. "s-so.. im..Im guessing the wedding will.be postponed until I accept a proper proposal then.." evelyn couldn't help but look back at him

" are we in love or not hon?" He smirked a bit as he chuckled. Alexander walked with her " where's the town? Im not very.. well I dnot know your Kingdom well." He admitted as he walked with her down a flight of stairs

"the wedding is canceled we won't marry unless you somehow fall for me" he assured her "and I am not wanting to court you just to make you marry me I truly find you fascinating," he told her. Blinking again he could feel the haze overwhelming his body "crap..." he groaned his eyes feeling like lead as they started to close.

she glared at him "don't push it darling" she squeezed his hand guiding him forward they walked down the stairs and turned leading him down a path. after walking down the dirt path they emerged into the edge of town "town center is just down that path" she said looking down the cobblestone paths.

Her cheeks flush when he said 'fall for me' to her it sounded almost like a plead. But in reality it wasn't.. evelyn felt her heart beat nervously as he complimented her " th-thanks..o-oh um..are you okay?" She asked as she moved closer to him .. she was concerned but the doctor came. Rushing in

He smirked "whatever doll" he said back cheekily. Alexander walked with her along the path " hopefully we don't give anyone a heart attsck" he muttered to her playfully

"I'll be fine" he assured her looking at the doctor who came in *about time* he thought shifting slightly he looked back to her and smirked "you keep looking like that and someone might actually think you care" he tried to poke fun at her. He flicked in pain as the doctor cleaned and poked at his wound clenching the blankets under his hands.

She smiled up at him "you better hope not I am sure it would somehow get pinned on you" she said in a sicky-sweet fake tone before resting her head on his shoulder.

She rolled her brown eyes. "I'm a very good actress " she blushed a little darker. Evelyn look's st the doctor " is it bad?" She asked softly
" no my queen, it will scar but thats about it" he replied as he wrapped it up. Smiling a bit he left them alone.
Evelyn sat beside him in her short light blue dress "is it feeling any better?"

"Yeah yeah whatever "he chucked as he wrapped his arm around her waste as he walks with her "where shall we go?"

he remained quiet as the doctor worked on him trying to ignore how much it hurt to even breath as the doctor left he shifted to sit up a little better. "Not really but that comes with time and healing" he answered looking around "I have to admit this is not how I imagined my first time alone with you in your bedroom," he said giving her a sly smile.

"we can just explore wherever you want I am sure my father had already heard so we may get called back to the castle at some point" she warned him. Looking around she hated all the eyes that were on them she felt like a giant lie but at least it was to save their lives from the horrors of war.

Her eyes widen and her cheeks go red "h-hey!" She gently hit his arm " y-you can't. You you can't say stuff like that !" She looked flustered " is it your goal in life to fluster me!?" Her eyes widen. Evelyn faced away from.him, embarrassed she was even blushing

He hept his arm around her waste "it's okay." He assured. " if we get called back you better be the best actress I've ever saw doll" he chuckled with a small smile. Alexander kept walking

he laughed a little but quickly stopped due to the pain watching her he smirked "Is it working?" he said despite knowing it was working very well. reaching out he put a hand on her arm "thank you for agreeing to let me take you out... I know you hate me" he said looking down.

she huffed "don't call me that and unlike you, I am in love so I know how to act" she glared up at him for a moment before looking forward again smiling at a few of her people as they passed.
