Alessa nodded as Zu'l moved to leave. "O-okay..." she said softly. She laid on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. Alessa laid Scarlett across her chest, then sighed softly. "He seems nice, huh Scarlett?" she murmured quietly, "What do you think?" Alessa brought Scarlett's muzzle to her ear, then nodded after a moment. "Me too." she agreed, setting Scarlett back on her chest. Alessa pushed some of her hair out of her face before shutting her eyes. "A nap won't hurt, right?" she mused, shutting her golden eyes.

As he left the room and headed back down stairs he returned to his station in the kitchen, finishing up the noodles and preparing the beef to make a beef yakisoba for the two of them. Deciding to play some music while he cooked the white haired male smiled slightly to himself as he danced around the kitchen watching his extra hands prepare the meal for them.
He never expected the extra hands would be so much help.

Alessa drifted off to sleep as she curled up with the pillow. She was in too light of a sleep to have any of her usual nightmares. The scents from the kitchen wafted upstairs and stirred Alessa out of her nap. The scents were a tad unusual for her, but she didn't hate them. Alessa laid there, hanging onto Scarlett as she tried to figure out what Zu'l was cooking. "It doesn't smell like anything the hospital ever made..." she murmured softly.

As he was plating the food the white haired male really hoped she didn't hate what he was making.
He always poured his heart and soul into his cooking so it would break him if she hated it. Using his extra hands to go upstairs and motion for her to come down he wondered if she would like his cooking or not.

Alessa slightly jumped as the hands came upstairs. It'd take some time to get used to them. She got off the bed and went downstairs. She brushed some hair out of her face as she approached the kitchen. The pup stood by the table, but didn't sit down. She had to sit on the floor and wait for scraps. She also had to be given a visual and verbal cue in order to eat; if one cue was given and she tried to eat, she'd be smacked and denied food for the rest of the day. Alessa simply stood there and waited until it was okay to sit.

Setting down her plate of food he explain that it was okay for her to eat and what he had prepared for her. As he watched her he felt that her behavior was a little unusual, but he hoped to change that in the future and make her less scared.

Alessa sat down, then set Scarlett on the floor next to her feet. She wasn't ever allowed to keep Scarlett on the table or in her lap. Alessa looked down at the plate of food, a little unsure of it. It wasn't anything like she had eaten before, but she didn't want to keep a closed mind about it. She glanced to Zu'l as she reached for a fork, watching for any sudden movements. "A-are you go-going to eat too?" she asked, pulling her paw away from the fork.

"Of course I am,
and I hope you will too." He said, using his extra hands to grab a pair of chopsticks and start eating. He always loved making yakisoba, and he never seemed to get tired of it.

Alessa slowly nodded before picking up the fork. Seeing that he was eating first and he verbally told her it was fine to eat, Alessa wasn't weary now. She took a few bites before she wiped her muzzle with the napkin. It was different to her; she wasn't quite sure how she felt about it. Not wanting to risk being denied any more food, she quickly finished her meal before getting up. Alessa carried her dishes to the sink, then returned to the table.

Once he finished the white haired male let out a soft yawn and ran his fingers through his hair. "I hope you liked it, if not I understand that too. Just remember you will never be denied anything here, okay?
he said, his voice soft and sweet.
