she grumbled angrily, shooting him a glare as she grabbed her things and went to the bathroom, shutting the door behind her before she took a shower. Afterwards she straightened her hair, having changed into a pair of jeans and a simple gray tee. However, she still didn't look the happiest when she walked out of the bathroom.

Kio
He frowned, putting a hand on her sholder and bringing her close to him, pressing his forehead against her. '' It's not as bad as I made it sound...from what i've heard it's just mildly uncomfortable if the human is turned properly....however, I would never turn you unless you asked me too, so don't worry about it, ok?"' he spoke, giving her a small smile before he went to shower.

Daniel packed while Ayumi got ready, nervously thinking about the day ahead. He heard the bathroom door open and glanced over his shoulder. Ayumi still looked annoyed about waking up early which made Daniel smile, which he made sure to hide. “I’m almost done packing... do you feel better?” he asked with a half smile.

Harper gave a small nod and watched Kio head to the bathroom. She let out a deep sigh and laid back on the bed, rubbing her eyes. Man, today was going to be a long day. She was half tempted to fall asleep again, but decided against it since she’d probably be out like a light. Her mind wandered back to turning, and how it was only ‘mildly uncomfortable’. She didn’t believe it, it had to be more painful than that. She groaned and got up, deciding it’d be best to pack to get her mind off things.

She simply looked at him and walked over to the bed, plopping down onto it, her face buried in the pillow. " I'll be fine if you give me a few hours. " she muttered unhappily.

Kio
After his shower he decided to let his hair dry naturally, once dressed and out of the bathroom he walked over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. " how's it goin? "

Daniel snickered,”I know, I know, that sounds heavenly right now, but we’re ready to go.” He piled their bags by the door,”You’ll have to kiss your sweet motel bed goodbye,” he said, his voice filled with fake pity as he tried, and failed, to not smile. He walked over and lightly poked her side,”Come on, you don’t want me to carry you out, do you?” he asked with a small grin.

Harper jumped when she felt a light touch on her shoulder,”Ah! Uh... fine, just... scatterbrained and... tired, why do you ask?” she asked as she finished packing her bag. She glanced up at the boy, something looked... different. “Hm, I’ve never seen you with wet hair before,” she said with a pause. “You look like a wet dog,” she said with a snort before ruffling it.

''noooo...'' she honestly didn't want to be carried out of the hotel room. '' Fine, let's go...'' she pouted, standing up grudgingly.
''' any clue where we're going from here? Seems kind of..well, kind of terrifying.''

Kio
''hey, I do not look like a wet dog'' he stated with a false pout. '' Soooo how 'bout I get an apology hug and then we can head out, hm?'' he smiled, gathering up their luggage.

Daniel smiled,”Don’t be so down, we’ll find an even better place to sleep soon.” he said reassuringly. “The next town over should offer a better place to live. I’ve only been there a few times, but it seems to be a place welcome to both vampires and humans alike... without so much fear involved.” he explained as he opened the door, stepping outside. “If it’s still the same as when I was there last, we’ll be safe.” Daniel clicked the unlock button on the car keys before popping the trunk, setting his bag into it. “I just... hope that once we get there, we don’t get involved in you-know-who’s business...” he grumbled, putting Ayumi’s bag in next to his.

Harper smirked at his false look of hurt,”Mm... fine, pretty boy got his feelings hurt, did he?” she asked with a slight tilt of her head. She snaked her arms around his middle before hugging him, hiding her face in the crook of his neck, her eyes closed. She tightened the hug slightly, acting for a moment like she’d never see him again. She soon broke the hug, her face a little warm. “There, you feel better now?” she asked with a small smile, walking to the door and opening it for him. She looked out to see Daniel talking with Ayumi as he packed their things. Thank god they didn’t have to wait for them to pack and get ready.

'' True.. it'll be nice to have a somewhat comfier bed....and I agree with your statement. We'll hopefully be able to go our seperate ways....'' unless we want to get answers on our past... she thought, keeping the thought to herself. Just like she kept her worry about being around a bunch of vampires to herself. She wouldn't deny Daniel the right to be around his own kind.. it was just that his own kind scared her.

He frowned at the way she hugged him as if she'd never see him again, and grabbed her hand with a frown as she opened the door. '' Is everything alright, Harper? '' he asked with a worried tone. ''' It wasn't anything I said earlier, was it? My intent wasn't to hurt or worry you....'' he spoke, pulling her back into another hug, though it was loose enough she could easily get away if she wished too.

Daniel looked down at her and gave a soft sigh,"We'll get answers, too... don't worry. I know for a fact Kio's family has something to do with it, he has to know something.." he mumbled. "A-also.. are you alright? You look kind of uneasy." he asked. He hoped she wasn't nervous about moving away from their homes into a whole new area where even he was unsure it'd be safe for them.

"Y-yeah, everything's fine. I'm just a little nervous..." she mumbled, taking his hand. "You didn't do anything wrong, don't worry. I'm... overthinking things is all." she gave him another hug, wrapping her arms loosely around him. She was scared to be on the road again and to be going to an unknown place, but she knew it was for the best. She pulled away and gave him a shy kiss on his jaw,"U-um... sorry. Let's go, Daniel and Ayumi are waiting..." she stammered, mentally kicking herself for doing that. She was confused with herself and being around Kio wasn't necessarily helping.

'' Great, that means we have to socialize with him more...'' she muttered, crossing her arms.'' Y-yeah, I'm fine... just a bit nervous, that's all. I'll be fine thought.''

'' well please don't worry about it too much, ok? It's honestly nothing you should be worrying or thinking about too much.'' he sighed before walking up to Daniel and Ayumi. It hadn't been his intention to make her worried or uncomfortable.... ''' are you ready to go, Daniel?''

Daniel frowned and sighed, "Yeah, I know. I'm not looking forward to it, honestly." he snorted before turning his attention to Kio, "Ah yes, we are. Say... We have something important to talk about, but we'll get into it once we get going." he said with a small sigh. Harper came up and put the bags into the trunk and didn't say anything, she just shot Daniel a confused look before sliding into the back seat. "All right, let's go," he said, shutting the trunk and slipping into the driver's seat. He waited until everybody was in before starting the car and leaving. "Ahem... so, Kio... me and Ayumi have an important question," he began awkwardly, looking at Kio in the rearview mirror. "Does... you and your family have anything to do with our memories being erased?" he asked. Harper looked up, confused about what was happening. Memories being erased? What? Daniel went on to explain how he'd known Ayumi in the past and after a certain incident, they'd forgotten almost everything about each other and the incident.
